Just step on the switch and start turning those knobs. You cannot fail to find a sound you like...

I use this pedal with any of my Les Paul Standard, Rickenbacker 330, Fernandes Lawsuit '62 Strat or my Gordon Smith GS2 12-String through my Mk1 Laney LC30 tube amp. The pedal is not true bypass, but it does not vampire your tone. I tend to use it sparsely as I like it to lightly flavour what I'm playing, but I use all my effects like that. I usually attempt to get want I want primarily through my fingers. I have never used this pedal in full stereo mode, but you never know. I bought this pedal in the early 1980's when I had only been playing a couple of years and used it for recording. At that time, everyone was using a chorus pedal. It delivered and still does!

Reliability : 10
No need for a backup with this baby. I recently had the battery connector changed as the original had corroded due to the battery I left in the pedal for the twenty years I didn't play my guitars! I used a mains adaptor for a while and I cannot fault the pedal in any way. Mine still looks virtually brand new and I have not kept it in a box!

Can't comment. It's never let me down.

Overall Rating : 10
I play anything from Led Zep to Neil Young, but 98% my own compositions and I wouldn't bother trying to find something 'better'. I fully endorse this pedal.
If it were lost, I'd be upset. If it were stolen, God help the thief if I caught him! Either way, I'd probably try a Small Stone?
I love the pedal's simplicity and the fact that it it quiet and allows your tone through. 25 years or so and it still does the business!

Nice and friendly sounds. Sounds very good, despite its age.

Reliable where do I begin. My dad had this pedal since 1970 something and its still in one piece after being trashed on stage.

Mad easy to use. 2 dials to turn and a footswitch to stomp on.

Sound Quality : 9
Noiseless and transparent. Even when the pedal is activated, the timbre of the guitar still comes through, so you can still hear your guitar's character. You can get tripped out sounds if you max out the dials, and it gets eerie if you add other modulation effects somewhere along the effects line.

Note: i use a DiMarzio Airzone Bridge Humbucker, an Ibanez Powersound Middle single coil, and a DiMarzio Chopper single coil-sized humbucker in the neck. because of the way i customized my 5 way switch, i never use the single coil exclusively. at least one humbucker is activated at any one time. that might be why there's no noise coming out of the amp. regardless, i still find the effects box to be extremely silent. absolutely no noise....it sounds like it's not there when it's off. i doubt it's true bypass....though if i was listening with my eyes closed, i'd prolly be fooled into thinking so.

This pedal sounds....amazing.

Reliability : 10
It feels sturdy. It's been jumped on hard. It's a metal chassis....i think the footswitch might be plastic, but it has a thick rubber top on it, so the plastic itself won't get bashed because the rubber will absorb most of the hits. as much as i hate Boss pedals, i might use a Boss chorus as a backup just cause Boss pedals are indestructible, despite their pathetic lack of character. still, i think this pedal comes pretty pretty preeeeeeeeetty damn close to immortal. tough. real tough.

"ooooooooh, Like a Rock"

Chevy didn't pay me for that.
I prefer german cars anyway.

No idea.

We play a smorgasboard rojak melting pot mix of alternative-funk-punk-rock-pop. heh. that was a mouthful, aye? anyway, sometimes when we have an ambient transition between a funk rock verse and an alternative punk chorus, we throw in a whole host of effects. it's catchy, like Fatboy Slim, Linkin Park, Coldplay and Sum 41 or Blink 182 all mixed together. :)

This is one of the better chorus pedals i've heard. and i must've heard almost all the big name ones out there. this definitely helps in the music.

a 9 because a 10 exists only in my dreams.
