In/Out and send/receive - super easy to use.

Why?? Because the manufacturer of this unit advertises "100 True Bypass, no coloration etc etc" and this is simply not true. The unit DOES suck your tone, its subtle, but it is absolutely noticeable, much in the way my delay or chorus pedals effect my tone when in the signal path. Furthermore, when you remove the battery, or the power supply, the sound DOES NOT pass through the unit like it should, if it was indeed a true bypass pedal. I emailed the company to find out if this was normal, or if the unit was defective, and he was too busy arguing with me and throwing hissy fits to ever give me a straight answer.

Well - the switch is very high quality and the unit is built well.....

I have heard so many great things about Dave the owner, and I did not have this same experience sadly. I emailed him and politely asked about why I was experiencing tone suck and he took it personally. Had he expended as much energy on satisfying an unhappy customer, as he did debating with me, all would have been well. Ultimately, I am stuck with something that does not operate as adverstised.

Buyer Beware - all the reviews are positive I know, but this was my experience. Take your business elswhere, to someone like Keely who knows what he is doing, and knows how to treat people with respect (even if they only spent a "measly 40 dollars" as my freind Dave chose to trivialize my purchase)

This unit functions just as it should. No noise, no pops, no cracks. Completely transparent. Effectively shortens your signal chain removing three of my tone sucking pedals...I used a 1 Looper to remove my wah, tuner, and compressor. When I want to use them I just click on the looper. I keep my wah on all the time now so I don't have to click it on and off when I want it. Nice true bypass switch. Plug in and out of the loooper and into an amp. The effects run out one way and in the other in a seperate loop.

Sound Quality : 10
Like I said before, it's silent, no noise, no clicking or poping when turning it on. I'm running a Taylor 310 > DD-6 > Looper >Line 6 Echo Park (not quite released yet but i'll have it soon) > mixer > amp. In the looper line I have the TU-2 Tuner, my boss compressor and my wah pedal. Works like a charm.

Reliability : 10
Sturdy metal casing, solid button, bright LED with a metal collar around it so that it dosen't get stepped on. Cool pain options I got the bronze color with amber LED. So far, it's been very reliable.

Here is where this product shines. These units are hand built by David Boggs and he handeles every aspect of the customer service. I never once waited more than a day to hear back from him and he is very curtious and nice to his customers. If I could give him more than a ten I would.

Overall Rating : 10
This pedal is awesome for people that want to significantly shorten their signal line for cluttered pedal boards. True bypass all those nasty pedals your not using all the time. Overall I'de definetly buy one again if it were lost of stolen. I now wish I would have gotten it with a tuner output, but it works just as well in the loop.

Sound Quality : 10
Absolutely no coloration of sound at all. Quiet operation and no signal loss. It's clean.

Built like a tank. Al metal hi quality box. It's brand new but I don't expect any problems

David is very responsive to emails and very helpful. And very fast turnaround for a custom made product.

I play mostly country and I have an old Waylon style Phaser and a chorus that needed to come out of the loop, also the TU-2 tuner. This is the perfect solution.
I would replace it if stolen. I love that I chose every detail about it and David made it exactly like I wanted it. How often do you get that?

How simple can it get? One loop and one tuner bypass. Self explanatory.

Sound Quality : 10
This outstanding unit does exactly what it should do - nothing. No coloration, no noise, no clicks, no nothing.

I've found (after chucking a few) my ideal pedal setup, and needed a simple loop to maintain a clear tone thru the primary boxes. The Loooper does exactly that. From Tele, into Analogman Comp, Fulldrive II, into the Looper and out to amp. The loop consists of a Keeley SD-1 and a Digitech delay...both of these remain on - and one simple stomp on the Loooper gives me a big fat wet tone when I want it. Options are almost infinite.

The tuner mute is exactly that. It pulls my TU-2 absolutely out of the signal chain till I need it. One stomp on the Loooper mutes the signal to the amp and runs it thru the tuner. Life is now good.

One might add that Dave's choice of LED colors highly compliment the Ruby metallic color of the case...this alone can improve your basic tone 67.28%.

Reliability : 10
Bomb proof, simple construction - I've already dropped it once and never even bothered to worry. Its that tough, and should last a lifetime.

Customer Support : 10
Dave's the best. Great communication throughout the deal and a nice guy to work with. He offers a thousand custom options - really cool color choices (think TONE...color is important), and if I ever had an issue with the unit, I have no doubt that Dave would be right there to help. Thanks dude!

Overall Rating : 10
I'm 50 and still gig 4-8 times a month. Currently playing cover rock, blues and a bit of country flavored stuff; the Loooper gives me the flexibility I need on the board to do anything I need (often with one stomp rather than two).

Nobody could steal it, as it is constantly beneath my foot.

Others make bypass boxes and such, but Dave is a great guy, the product will do exactly what you want it to do, and NOBODY has the colors Dave offers (remember this alone will increase tone 68.27%)
