I have the Custom 2 loooper W/tuner mute and master bypass. I primarily use a lite ash Tele (with Seymour Duncans, '93 PRS CE and a customized Hamer (Seynour Duncan JB & '59). My signal first goes to a Diamond compressor then on to the Loooper. In loop 1, I have A Boss DS-1 and a Vox Wah (the ultimate tonesucker). Loop 2 is my Jekyyl & Hyde Ultimate Overdrive. I use a Boss TU-12 in the tuner out. Finally, my signal leaves the loooper and hits a Visual Sound H2O and then on to a 2-12 Fender Hot Rod DeVille with a 2-12 Mesa Boogie Recto cab. All of my CNB pedal board is connected with George L's .155 cable and 90 degree plugs. My guitar cables into my pedalboard and out to my amp, are Planet Waves. The signal is a little noisy when I switch to tuner with the high gain loop selected (DS-1), but with the loops bypassed, the signal is crystal. It's just a matter of familiarizing myself with the process. Definately able to live with it as the pros far outweigh the cons.

I have been playing for 30 years and am now doing covers (R&B, country and rock). This product has been the answer to my dreams. Being able to use my choice of effects without the tap dancing is awesome! I have not compared it to other products because of my location. I live in Halifax, N.S., Canada so to try, I have to buy. After extensive research, I choose Loooper and have been spreading the word ever since! If I needed to replace it, I would probably add more features. At the time I ordered it, I wasn't sure what I wanted but I now see the limit is my imagination!

David at Loooper is amazing. He responds faster to e-mails than my own mother. He is extremely helpful and patient. I dare you to find someone who cares more about their product, and their customers. My units are huge and very complex, he spent nearly a month answering several emails every day to help me design what i need for my large rig. He is by far the most helpful person i have ever dealt with. A+

I've been playing the guitar for 35yrs. I play all styles:Jazz,Rock, Blues,R&B,Latin, and Big Band. I play in a 11 piece band which works all year around, so, my sound is very important. I also use a effects rack between the 2 amps(Furman Conditioner,BBE 482i Sonic Maximizer,Lexicon reverb, and Behringer Virtualizer Pro)and also a Roland GR-33.If my Custom Loooper was stolen or lost, yes i would buy another. Thanks Mr. David Boggs, your the BEST!!!

I originally purchased a loooper with a Tuner-mute for my Ibanez AD-9 & Boss TU-2, and then purchased an additional loooper for my Boss CE-2 analog chorus. Both the looopers are well-designed & built, and do their assignment correctly every time. The loooper really comes in handy with the CE-2, as it introduces noise into the signal when "off". My AD-9 has an intermittant switch (a common Ibanez 9-series problem), so the loooper circumvents that inconvenience during gigs/recording. These economical & practical devices are worthy of praise and endorsement. The Loooper website is informative and easy to use, also.

You decide the options so hopefully if you can't figure it out your in trouble. All jacks and switches are clearly labeled.
Mine has four loops with an A/B option on the middle two. I have two different distortions that I can switch between in these loops. There is also a master bypass for the two middle loops. It's like having a three channel amp.

My loooper makes no sound and doesn't affect the tone. Exactly what you want in a switcher.

A quality loop switcher especially for the money. The box itself is pretty light but as long as you a 412 cab doesn't fall on it it should hold up fine.

Dave Boggs built me a Looper with five loops and a tuner-mute switch,
two outputs and painted silver( hammerite finish). All my effects run
through the Looper which greatly improves my sound.Very simple to use,
also each loop is easy to tell whats on and off thanks to very brite
Led's that are blue, my tuner-mute Led is amber.

The Looper has no coloration or very little from what I can tell,
just guitar, Looper, to the amp.No added noise and the footswitches
are silent.

If you use alot of pedals, the Looper is an essential piece gear
that you should consider buying.Dave can make you a Looper with
one loop or as many as you need.Even true-bypass effects work fine
in the Looper.Non TBP work even better.Yes, if it gets stolen this
year while on tour I will order another Looper.

I haven't had a looper before, and I wasn't sure what to plug where, but it worked on the first try.

I bought a custom stereo looper for my chorus and delay. It is set up so that I can run the chorus or the delay or both or bypass both.
I bought it just to say that I had a whole true bypass chain, not expecting any noticable tone difference, but it made huge difference in my sound. The total bypass mode does not suck any tone what so ever and the other modes sound better because the chorus is not bleeding through when just using the delay and visa versa.

I emailed Dave Boggs and told him what I wanted and he emailed me back a few times to make sure that he understood what I was talking about. Try emailing Boss or Ibanez and see what kind of response you get!!!

I know that other reviewers say that no pedal is a 10, but I give it a 10 because I got to choose exactly what I wanted, including the color, and was able to correspond with a real human being and when I got it, it worked BETTER than I had anticipated. When's the last time that happened?
It only has a light for 1 of the loops, but from what I understand, it is not possible to have 2 lights and still be true bypass, with the specifications that I wanted. If it had 2 lights, I guess I would have to give it an 11.
If you want your tone back, by a Dave Boggs looper.

So easy I feel like I designed it...wait, I did design it. My looper:
three loops, tuner out, power adaptor, sparkly green gloss finish. Made to order by Dave himself. I even specified exactly which color LEDs I wanted for which loops. awesome service! This is no exaggeration, Dave even braved a furious tornado to assemble my unit on time.

Again, could not be better. This is the only piece of equipment I have EVER heard that didn't suck the slighest bit of tone. (PRS Custom 22/Fender US Strate -> Loooper -> Mesa/Boogie Heartbreaker Head -> Orange 4x12. Through Loooper: Korg DTR-2, Crybaby GCB-95, Mesa/Boogie V-1 Bottle Rocket, Hughes & Kettner Rotosphere.)
