Very easy to set up of course. Not much to it: plug it in and play it. If you need a manual you're probably not getting along in life very well.

Sound Quality : 10
This thing works perfectly. I'm using a couple of different guitars (Parker P-38, Fender Strat, Tele, Valley Arts). I used to use a Whirlwind A/B but never used the switch for both on at once. I just used it to switch from my effects (Barber Direct Drive, Barber LTD, Boss SD-1 with Indy Fullclone Fulldrive mod, Ibanez TS-9 with Keeley Baked/Plus mod, Boss CE-2 and a Digitech Digidelay) to the tuner so that I could silently tune. The Whirlwind is a pretty big pedal and one thing that really attracted me to the Loooper was that it was TINY!! Plus, I could still power it with the same kind of adaptor as other Boss type pedals (as opposed to the Whirlwind which uses male type adaptor that I don't have of course). It took, um, about 1 minute to hook it up to the board and get it up and running. It works PERFECTLY! Flawless. No sound deterioration, coloration, bleeding, humming, pops, crackles, nothing! I power it with a DC Brick along with the other pedals noted above and have no problems. That's it!!

Reliability : 10
I'd definitely depend on this, no question. I open up every effect that I ever buy and check the quality of connections and parts. There's not much to this, so there's not as much that can happen. But what there is is put together with good attention to detail and quality parts and construction. I'll gig without a backup. That may change, these are priced extremely well. I've had mine for about 5 months and if something did go wrong, it would be an issue with the parts and not the construction.

Dave's a great guy and so very easy to work with. Very accomadating. Look at his website (loooper.com). You can get all colors, LED's and so many options. Very friendly. A friend and I both wanted one of these, so he gave us a good deal on shipping since they were shipped together (up to Alaska). My friend echos my opinion of this pedal, we couldn't be more stoked! Answers multiple emails containing ignorance and reduntant questions and answers them quickly and professionally.

I play so many different styles of music: straight ahead jazz, funk, rock, fusion, progressive rock and other odds and ends music that I might get hired to do. I've been at it for 20 years pro now. I have a lot of gear that sees the pedal board for a while and then finds a box or is not put to use. This one stays. It serves it's purpose extremely well, takes up almost no room and is reliable and beautiful. What else could you want from this? For my purposes, this needs no improvements. I compared it to NUMEROUS other A/B's and found this one to be cost effective, high quality, true bypass, the color I wanted (both finish and LED's), quickly made and sent and so on. If it were stolen, I would only beat the thief's ass a bit, they are so cheap so it's not breaking the bank. I highly recommend this!!!

1 input, 2 outputs. 1 true bypass switch to select between outputs. Mine has 1 green LED (when on output 1 is active; when off output 2 is active).

Sound Quality : 10
I have a pedalboard with 6 quality pedals. 5 are true bypass, 1, alas, is not. My Boss TU-2 tuner has been with me for a long time, has served me well and I don't want to part with it. Aside from sentimental reasons, though, there is no way I'm going to pay huge sums of money for a true bypass tuner. It is, however, a bit of a tone sucker. This is unacceptable. What to do?

Enter the Loooper. Good things do indeed come in small packages. Upon opening the carefully packed boxed it was love at first sight. Well constructed, aesthetically pleasing, I could not wait to plug it in and put it to the test. Ran output 1 to my first pedal in the chain and output 2 to my tuner.

Switching back and forth between outputs was smooth. Absolutely no signal bleed. And importantly, absolutely no loss of tone. On top of all of this it was painted to my wishes. What more could I ask for?

Reliability : 10
I have no problem using this without a backup. Only time can tell about reliability, but I am not expecting any problems. It is solidly built. Period. If there are any problems, David, being the kind of guy he is, will deal with it.

Customer Support : 10
I have to say that David has been one of the most helpful and understanding guys I have dealt with in the pedal world. It doesn't get any better than this, folks. He will work with you to get you the pedal you want/need.

I've been playing for a long, long time. I like quality gear as you tend to get what you pay for. This little switchbox is a gem and a steal. If it were somehow lost or stolen I would not hesitate for a second to get another one. I now have my cake and can eat it too. Thanks David.

Simple A/B Box design. Plug in and go.

Sound Quality : 10
I currently have a pedalboard with 10 pedals on it. I needed the ability to have a tuner on my board, but not in the effects chain. I chose the Loooper Micro A/B Box for it's convenient size. The build quality is excellent. The LED's are nice and bright. Also, it is absolutely dead quiet with no signal bleed what-so-ever. All around, a top notch pedal.

Reliability : 10
I have only owned it for a a week, but it's simple design and excellent build quality assures me that this pedal will last a lifetime. I would certainly buy another if something were to happen to this one.

Customer Support : 10
The web site is customer focused. Very easy to navigate and to place an order. The selection is huge and the available color choices are incredible. I placed an order and received the pedal within 3 days. I also received constant communication from the builder. Excellent customer service.

Overall Rating : 10
Those looking for a good quality A/B box in a small, convenient package will be very happy with this pedal.

Easy as pie - 1 input, 2 outputs, and a switch to choose which output you're going to use. I had Dave Boggs put a pair of LEDs in so I know at a glance whether I'm aimed at the tuner or my effects string, before I start playing.

Sound Quality : 10
I use this switch first in line after my bass, and don't have any problem with noise or anything, there's not even hum imparted by the power adapter I'm using to power its LED indicators. Fantastic.

Reliability : No Opinion
It broke soon after I got it, but it was my fault, not the Loooper's fault. I used a bit too much force plugging a cable in and bent the jack out of shape, (then I tried to fix it and somehow fried it when I next plugged it in, complete with fire and smoke!) which leads us to....

CUSTOMER SUPPORT is the name of the game here! Even though *I* screwed my own pedal up, Dave Boggs asked me to send it back and include a five-spot just in case it needed new parts. He fixed it quickly, sent it back - and then refunded 4 of the dollars, to cover my end of the shipping! Great guy - all of you who ordered a pedal from him in late 2003 may be upset it took a long time to get your pedals, but Dave was in the hospital...

Overall Rating : 10
Great guy, great product - I'd do it again every time. Might get a backup, in case I mess it up right before a gig or something =0)
