This is pretty simple to use...just connect the pedal to the guitar and the amp and them put the pedals in the loop that you want. I actually use is micro loooper to switch gutiars. It works well for that. To do this I connect the my main guitar into the input and then connect the pedal to the amp through the output. Then I connect the second guitar to the loop input/return (it is the jack right about the output). It works great for switching guitars. I also used it a few times for it's intended use and it worked well for that.

I run a PRS Custom 22 through this then into a Peavey JSX. I am switching between the PRS and a modified strat with a LR Baggs Acoustic bridge. Excellent sound quality. There is no popping when I am switching guitars and no sound degradation. This pedal is a nice addition to the rig.

Reliability : 10
No issues yet. I have a custom 2 loooper from Dave Boggs and it works great as well.

Customer Support : 10
Everytime I've emailed Dave he has been very helpful and a pleasure to deal with.

Overall Rating : 10
I would definitely purchase this again if lost or stolen. I am considering purchasing an addition one to use for it's intended purpose of bypassing effects. I also like the available color options and build quality. Dave is a pleasure to deal with. Highly recommended.

VERY VERY SIMPLE. Simpy treat it as an effects loop send and return, and use the switch to engage and disengage the loop. Can also be used as an A/B by using the OUT as an "in" and toggling between the IN and the RETURN.

Sound Quality : 10
I'm using this with my Chapman Stick (stick.com), ZVex Fuzz Factory (zvex.com), and SansAmp TRI-A.C. (tech21nyc.com)--all fantastic companies, I might add. I use the Micro Loooper to patch delay/pitch-shift/phaser/whatever-I-want in and out on a whim (all BEFORE the SansAmp, for a more realistic effects-into-the-front-of-the-amp kind of sound).
Works as a superb true-bypass box.

Reliability : 10
I've only had it for a few months, but is VERY solid. I've taken off the back to inspect the wiring, and it's very clean.

Dave Boggs is very responsive.

Simple. 4 jacks sockets, footswitch, status LED plus Dc power input, all put together in a nice tiny box. I use it to "true bypass" a Wah pedal. The only possible confusion is the labelling of the jacks, but frankly it takes 20 seconds to plug in some leads and work this out...
The use of the DC power input is optional and is only required if you want the status LED to work. personally I use this so that I know if the WAH pedal is on or not.
Installed in a PedalPad pedalboard. Given the small size of this unit and it's small footprint I found it better to screw the unit to my pedal board rather than rely on a tiny piece of velcro to hold it in place.

G&L ASAT Custom, LP Classic, PRS Singlecut through Cornford Hellcat Head and cab. As mentioned above I use thie Micro Loooper to make a truse bypasss of my rather horrible old Crybaby Wah.

Signal quality is now vastly improved when the Wah is "looped out". No pops and clicks when switching. No appreciable noice differecen when Wah is on.

Reliability : 9
Yes. What can go wrong? Yes, I do use it without a backup.

Excellent, Dave answered emails promptly and goods were completed in advance of planned delivery date. no nonsense, very straight guy. I'm in the UK and would have no hesitation in recommending Loooper to other folks outside US.

Overall Rating : 9
Rock, Pop, Indie etc for 20+ years.
Yes, I'd buy another one if damaged or stolen. You don't realise how much tone a Wah sucks out of your signal until you've used something like this. Much better!

It couldn't get any easier! Just plug it in and enjoy!
I have a micro loooper with Red Metallic Fleck Gloss Enamel Finish, white letters and a green LED. The LED is awesome!

Sound Quality : 9
I use it to get my Boss CE-2 out of the chain. It totally does its job - no noise whatsoever! (a 9: nothing's 10, a 10 is heaven!)

Reliability : 10
Totally, I'd drive over it and it would still work!

Amazing customer support. You can always e-mail David with any question that you might have, and he always works with you. Great to see that there are still people in this business that care for their customers!

Overall Rating : 10
Like I said, David is a great guy. His stuff looks great, and just wants you to keep ordering stuff. Check out his website, it's totally worth it. Looopers forever!

The pedal is a no brainer. I bought the Micro Loooper because it did the functions I needed and didn't take up too much space. You can also use it as a guitar selector by using the two inputs. Keep in mind that you wouldn't be able to loop it using it in this way.

Sound Quality : 10
I didn't get any tone loss when I deactivated the loop. No clicking or anything. I tried the Loooper on a Rockman Acoustic Pedal that was popping each time I activated it. When the pedal was put in the loop it didn't pop. I was using the loooper to switch it on and off. I am currently using an Ampeg Gemini with an American Standard Telecaster. Other electric guitars include a 1956 Guild Capri, and an Epiphone wildkat. I also use a Digitech RP-100 (you have to program it to get decent sounds), a Rat Distortion (nice pedal), and of course the tremolo and echo in my amp.

Reliability : 9
I have had the pedal for about a week. I will give it a 9 because I don't know what the future will bring and this posting probably wouldn't get posted with a 10 on every one. The pedal has a heavy duty Hammond box and it has Switchcraft jacks. I took a peak inside and was really impressed with the soldering. You can tell that Dave takes pride in his work. Backup? No, if it failed a person could still get through their gig. The price/quality can't be beat.

Customer Support : 10
Dave answers emails! So I didn't put my email address down. He really seems to care about his products and furthermore his customers. Need a modification, special order? Check out his website. I bought the Micro Loooper with no paint, no battery (not an option on the Micro anyway). I included the shipping in the price paid. A great deal!

Overall Rating : 10
I play primarily oldies and also write. If you use effects and need a quality shut off this is it. I like the fact that it is a simple hard wired box. No power supply to worry about or no batteries to replace. I've been performing for 18 years or so. If my Micro Loooper was lost or stolen, you bet I would get another one. I tried the Morley A/B and gave it right back to the salesperson. I like the fact that you can true bypass your effects and get the sound that you actually get from your guitar.

No sweat. Plug and play. No fuss. EASY!!!

True Bypass and noisleess switching on this little box. I use it with my Boss DD5 Delay because when the DD5 is on Tap mode (which I always keep mine on), the feedback does not cutoff when you turn the pedal off. Now that's a nice touch for certain parts, but sometimes, when you're gonna kick in distortion, you can't have that delay carry over. So at those times I simply turn off the Loooper. I also have a DD3 in the loop (which is always set to a short slap delay). So the Loooper doubles as a general bypass for my 2 delays.

Reliability : 10
built wicked tough. Can't foresee any problems here.

I didn't get my shipping confirmation so I emailed David and asked about it and he said "It seems that none of my
customers get the confirmation from the USPS" and that it had already been mailed out and should arrive that day. He was right and it was in the mailbox.

Overall Rating : 10
Basically this is one of the simplest pedals you can imagine. Tons of uses and a great price. For $20 more you can have a blend or volume knob put on there. If you use a Boss Line Selector than you already know what kind of things you can do. Not as elaborate as a Line Selector, but also about a third of the size and like half the price. And if you need something more complicated, I'm sure you can find it on his page. It's exactly what I needed and I'm very happy with it.

I'm very tempted to get into the elaborate looping systems he has to offer, but sometimes I have to remind myself that I'm a guitarist, not a pedal player.
