I use it currently in my rig.
Guitars:
'83 Fender Stratocaster - Canetta Luthier Custom Guitar "Giosef" - Yamaha SG100 (OBL neck - Bartolini V88 neck) - Blade Standard.
Pedalboard:
input buffer-> True bypassed Cry Baby-> 4-way custom looper
1) Jacques Meistersinger chorus
2) '77 Small Stone phaser (volume loss fixed)
3) BOSS SD-1 ('91 stock)
4) TC Electronic chorus/flanger -> Boss DS-1 Keeley Ultra Mod
-> LOVEPEDAL ->George Dennis Volume -> Boss DD-5 -> Mesa Boogie Studio .22+
I use it to boost when needed, or with the guitar's volume. It sounds simply GREAT in every knob's position. Period

I cannot gig without it.
After two Year the stompswitch begin to fault, so I email Sean on what to do. He answered immediately, and with simply instructions and my solder, I replaced the switch and had my beloved LOVEPEDAL fully working back again in minute.
Note: I was concerned about the lack of an external power supply, but in that two Year I never change the battery, and when I did it (thinking the problem was a battery fault) I'd found it almost at full charge.

I play mainly rock, but this baby will work almost for every style (maybe not jazz), from a "bite boost" to annihilating distortion. It turn the tamer clean amp in a wall of sreamin' Marshall. Give it a try and You'll never gig without it.
Fantastic.

One knob to adjust the level of boost and two sockets. Nice and simple. The pedal comes with some useage guidelines which are useful.

I use this pedal primarily as a boost for solos using either a PRS Custom 24 (humbuckers) or a AM Std Strat. The amp in question is a Fneder Hotrod DeVille.
This pedal can provide two functions depending on how you use it. Place it in your amp's effect loop and you get a perfectly clean volume boost. Use it in front of the amp and you get a volume boost with some added gain and clipping. I opt for the latter.
The pedal is true-bypass and so there is no tone sucking when not in use and best of all when in use the pedal preserves the tone of your guitar and amp.
This pedal is the real deal as far as vintage blues tones go. I used to have a Boss blues driver which I thought was good until I heard the Lovepedal. The overdrive is so natural and REAL my bluesdriver sounded horribly synthetic by comparison.
If used to boost an overdriven channel the result is liquidy smooth sustaining tone that STILL sounds like your amp. With both humbuckers and single-coils the tone stays very clean and never gets muddy.
This is the only boost pedal I've ever owned so yes it the best for me but it is also the finest most natural sounding overdrive I ever used so I'm very happy indeed.

The box is finished beautifully by hand and is housed in a very tough metal case, the finish does scratch quite easily but this isn't big deal. I had a look inside when it first arrived and the soldering work is to be admired. The sockets and switch are of an excellent quality, I would definately use it without a backup. I hope and believe it will last for many years to come.

I emailed Sean with a few questions and he was very helpful. A really nice guy and I hope to place more orders with him in the future! The item was shipped to the UK without any fuss or problem at all.

If you play electric blues you really should check this pedal out. The only drawback is that I find that I want to leave it on all the time because it makes my amp so good on every setting, thus leaving me without a boost!
The Lovepedal replaced a BOSS BD-2 Bluesdriver which was good but sounded like a toy compared to this.
If it were lost I'd place an order the same day.
The only real drawback for me is that there is no AC adaptor and so use have to use a battery. This will probably isn't an issue for most people but I like my gear to be low maintenance so it would have been great to have one.

Absolutely no way it could be easier! One true bypass switch, one knob, and one bright LED. He even sent a manual.

I am playing an 82 Epiphone Spirit with two humbuckers into a Peavey Classic 50 410, along with an old MIJ SD-1 and a Keeley Phat BD-2. This thing sounds fierce! The clipping is anywhere from very gentle to very broken-up. The only complaint I can think of (and it's not really a complaint) is that it breaks up a little too much! Sometimes I want just a pefectly clean boost. I haven't had a chance to rehearse with my band yet, so I may even change my opinion about that. I am giving it a 9 because of that, but I hope no one thinks of that as a detrement. Remember, this is 1 to 10.

This thing is built very nicely. I cracked it open right off just to look at the point to point wiring, and I must say, it is a work of art by a true craftsmen. All the solder points look textbook and very strong, and Sean used a black rubbery substance to encase the main guts. Looks very reliable. And I most certainly plan on gigging with it!

Sean is the best as far as customer support goes. He is always on the effects forum. In fact, I first emailed him to ask a few simple questions, and he was so personable, I bought two pedals!!

This pedal is a simple one knob booster that kicked my Tweed Bassman in the arse!! Simply plug it in, and turn it up.

I used a Strat into a 59 RI Bassman or a Top Hat Club Royale. The Lovepedal sounded great with both of them.
It got most of it's use with the Bassman. The Bassman is a non master Volume amp and I can't turn it up very loud at gigs or practices because it is a loud little bitch.
The Love Pedal cured that problem! It pushed the front end of my amp until it begged for mercy. I finally got the amp breathing without ear bleeding volume. Sounded great.

Mr Love Pedal sent this to me to try out so I was only able to spend a week with it, but it managed to go to 2 gigs and 2 rehersals with me. Never let me down at all. I have no reason not to trust it because it is built very solid.

I play mostly rock, and some blues based stuff. This pedal works great for the blues tone as far as pushing a non MV amp to a natural breakup. This is definitely something that I would recommend to a guitarist, especially you purists who don't like anything between you and your amp. This is what you need

I've used this box with everything in my guitarsenal including A '65 ES-335, A Les Paul Historic '57 Gold Top reissue, '60 Les Paul Jr, Relic '51 Nocaster, 60's Relic Stratocaster and a '72 Telecaster Thinline reissue through a Victoria 45410(tweed bassman type), Victoria Victorilux(AC-30 meets Princeton Reverb), Victoria 20112 (tweed deluxe type), '64 Super reverb, '65 Vibrolux Reverb and a '65 Deluxe reverb and this box smokes with every amp/guitar combo I've thrown at it. Very transparent with more boost available than I'll ever need. I usually turn the knob up to about 9:00 as a boost for solo's when I'm doing a rock gig and lately I've been leaving it on all night for the blues stuff and just cleaning up the tone with the volume knob on my guitar.

I've been playing pro for about the last 6 years and bring a different amp out for the particular room I'm playing in. This is a great box that matches my style of play perfectly. and I own/owned a lot of boosts including Fulltone FAT boost and Z-VEX Super Hard On and this one I've been taking to the gig as of late. If it ever got stolen I'd replace it in a heartbeat. Do yourself a favor and check one out. For less than $100 it's the best deal on the net for a killer boost.
