Update to earlier review ....
The level and gain pots are interactive for all three modes ... if you raise the gain, the level will increase a bit, but not much. Very easy to get what you need from it.
The tone pot is VERY useful, and the pedal is not overly bright at all, to my ears. I play through a couple relative bright amps, and I never go lower than 12:00. No loss of low end, either. Perfect.
Due to the difference between the level of the three modes, however, switching between them requires a tweak to the level pot.
Still ... very easy to use.

Amazing versatility ... very quiet ... very articulate and dynamic ... relatively transparent, especially on the Clean Boost and Marshall modes ... truly a desert island pedal.
On a clean EL84 based amp, my Ceriatone DC30, for New Country or Southern Rock I turn the fat boost pot on my G&L Legacy to 1 to roll of the thickness and I switch to the middle pickup for a bit of twang ... set the MojoDrive to Clean Boost mode with the gain about 2:00 and the tone to noon ... and I goose it with a Bad Monkey for leads, or I can just increase the gain to max and adjust the amount of distortion with the volume pot of the guitar. Perfect Strat growl.
For Van Halen or Stone Temple Pilots I roll the Legacy's fat boost pot to '10' and switch to the Duncan Hot Rails in the bridge ... switch the MojoDrive to Marshall mode and max the gain ... and I get a cranked JCM tone that allows me to control the amount of dirt with the volume pot, or goose it with a Bad Monkey for leads. Excellent humbucker + Marshall stack tone that still cleans up reasonably well with the volume pot of the guitar.
For Stevie Ray Vaughn I roll the Legacy's fat boost pot to '5' and switch to the neck pickup ... switch the MojoDrive to Tube Screamer mode, lower the gain and pump the treble pot a tad ... and use the Bad Monkey with low gain and goosed treble for a perfect SRV clear, sustaining tone.
There is nothing this pedal can't cover, and cover well, I might add. Again, it's amazingly versatile. There's little noise, it maintains the sound of single coils and humbuckers and doesn't smother your amp's base tone ... very transparent, and stays articulate to max gain on Clean Boost and Marshall modes. I've decided a '10' may actually be warranted here. Sue me. It's a desert island pedal ... the Swiss Army Knife of ODs. :o)|

One-stop shopping. There isn't anything I can't do with the MojoDrive and a Bad Monkey.
And it does it cleanly, with little noise, with transparency, and no tone suck. Never harsh ... never too bright nor too dark.
I played the same two pedals for six years while trying almost every hyped OD under the sun. The MojoDrive does it all ... for me. And the fact that it's only $140 for the Stealth model makes it a no-brainer. It's a steal! I'm going to get a second MojoDrive, or possibly a Chupacabra, to stack with it so I don't have to bend down to change modes and levels so often during a show, and I'm sure I'll be playing this combination for another six or seven years. Excellent pedal ... amazing value.

I bought a one of a kind mojodrive, with a special burt op amp..metal film resistors...wima caps..and a few other facny bells and whistles...I had recently bought my friend's Landgraff Mo'd..and I love it...But I like to run 2 OD pedals with mild gain vs one gain cranked...Now my buddy has the Mo'd...LDO..and LCB..And they all blend great together...My Mo'd sounded UNREAL through my Dr Z rig..except when coupled with any of my crappy OD pedals lying around...But I didnt really wanna cough up another $400-500 for ANOTHER JL pedal..So when this custom finished one of a kind mojo popped up..I grabbed her...BY herself...she's slightly brighter than I'd like..(little brighter and more gain than LDO)..But in front of the mo'd...It is a monster...Just the right amount of squash to make her sustain for days...
All in all..having 2 landgraff Mo'd..one Landgraff LDO..one Landgraff clean boost...original gold horsie Klon...And believe it or not tried...just about EVERY OD/DIST/GAIN/BOOST/FUZZ pedal out there...This one is definitely a keeper...

The one-page sheet included was plenty of info to get started. With the MojoDrive it is very easy to get instantly usable sounds out of the Tube Screamer and Marshall switch positions, though the clean boost mode takes a little time to understand what it actually does.
With the Tube Screamer and Marshall positions the gain and level controls are very intuitive and the tone and gain controls are very interactive, yielding more control than you'd expect from a three-knob box. There isn't a bad sound in either mode.
The Clean Boost position is very clean and provieds a HUGE volume boost that must be prepared for, ie. check your levels when swicthing from the other two modes. It's a hot mode. This is best used for goosing an already cranking amp.
In all ... better than average here.

I've tested the Mojo with a class A EL84 amp (Matchless clone from Ceraitone) and with a Laney LC-50 using 6L6s (my main gigging amp). The Mojo is relatively quiet with both amps, considering how much gain is available.
The Marshall and Tube Screamer modes maintain good low end once the volume and gain is turned up a tad. At gig volumes they both sing while remaining clear and articulate, with very little compression in the Marshall mode. The Marshall mode yields a very distinct 'Marshally' midrange with a clear crunch similar to my old SuperLead. Awesome with humbuckers. While the TS mode sounds like a beefed up old TS9 with more low end and more gain on tap. Can't be beat for thickening up single coils and getting that clear, singing SRV vibe.
The Clean Boost switch position sounds a lot like the Klon ... very clean and articulate, all the way to max gain, while providing a big volume boost and adding punch and dynamics. It's a very transparent boost with little compression. Almost no squishing going on here.
Better than average, because each mode is so unique and so tweakable for a three-knobber.

I always have a backup plan, but I can't see having a problem with the MojoDrive. Seems very sturdy. Based on feedback from other owners it will last forever and two days. WHich, to be honest, is as expected, so this is really almost an average rating, but I don't want to send the wrong signal to those counting the numbers without reading the reviews.

I play classic rick, southern rock, and blues in local bars and private parties. And I've been doing it off and on for about 25 years.
I've tried many of the 'sacred cows' among the pedal-crazy set and have sold or traded all of them. While some impressed me, I always wound up with a couple Bad Monkeys and a delay pedal and dat's dat. Nothing has been able to best that little green wonder. Now with the MojoDrive, I have a pedal that is a perfect compliment to it. The Mojo is one of the most awesome pedals I've ever played over a clean amp. In Marshall mode, it duplicates a good cranked tube amp over a clean channel like no other pedal. And that's where it shines in Marshall mode. While the TS mode, with the gain rolled off a tad, over a clean amp, yields Stevie Ray all day. And the Clean Boost mode will send a cooking tube amp over the top while actually adding articulation and clarity to the notes.
I will always own a MojoDrive. For what I play, it is perfect, along with a Bad Monkey. To cover what the Mojo Drive does I would have to buy a CrunchBox or OCD for Marshall ... an Analogman TS Silver for the Tube Screamer mode ... and a Klon for the Clean Boost position.
Awesome. Simply awesome.

I am using my Mojo Drive Deluxe with three Mexican modified Strats with Hot Rails pickups in the bridge with a tone control for that pickup. This sounds great no matter what amp I plug it into, even a $140 Fender Frontman 25R. The sound is awesome with this pedal, so versatile! I love it so much, I'm getting rid of my Tube Screamer pedal! I also want to buy another one so I can get rid of my Boss OD-20 pedal and have twon of these on my pedalboard. I can set one for one type of gain and tone, and the other one for another. The three way switch just is spectacular!

Ethan is the most helpful and attentive person I have dealt with while purchasing any equipment I've bought in 36 years of playing. When I said I wanted a Lucibox deluxe enclosure on my Mojo Drive, he said no problem. He even asked me what color LED I wanted in this thing. With this kind of customer relations, I can see this company growing to be one of the best name "boutique" pedals in the USA.

I have been playing lead guitar for 36 years. For the last 7 years, I have been playing contemporary Christian Worship. I have to be able to go from slight crunch tones to full out heavy distortion in the course of 35-45 minutes of worship twice weekly. I own tons of other effects pedals, and this MOJO DRIVE is fast becoming a favorite of mine. If someone stole this thing, I'd have Ethan build me another one ASAP, no matter what the cost! My ONLY negative thing I can say is that I wish the power jack was in the end of the pedal, like Boss pedals are. If anyone is thinking about getting one of these--I say GET ONE!!! You won't regret it, I haven't. And, while you're at it, get the Deluxe Lucibox version--it's pretty too!

This is an update of my earlier review. After playing with the Mojo Drive for almost a year now and watching other people play through my rig I fully appreciate how good this pedal is. It sounds more like part of my amp rather than a stomp box between the guitar and amp. I have many people when they hear it ask me "what is that?" and I steer them toward Ethan. Why pay boutique price when this pedal is every bit as good or better than the high dollar pedal. Try one and I think you'll agree.

It's really very simple. 3 knobs, 1 switch, and a foot switch. Easy to use.... easy to find the tone you want.
Not much of a manual, but it doesn't really need one.
I would, however, liked to have a logo and labels like the original black one did. I have the swirly one, which is fine, but i wanted to have them labeled for a little easer use. Also the input and output aren't labeled... that threw me off the first time too. My mind usually runs backwards. :D

I play through a Vox AC15 with a Fender American Telecaster.
I replaced my Fulltone Fulldrive 2 with this pedal because the sound quality is better. As compared to other pedals, the mojo doesn't lose you bass, keeps the meat in your tone, and overall sounds excellent.
The tone knob i have set to very low, simply because i play a tele which is pretty bright itself. If i were playing something like a hollow body or something with closed humbuckers, i'd definitely use this knob more.

The pedal has 3 settings. They are all easy to use, but each of the 3 settings changes the range of the 3 knobs. So it's easy, but there are multiple options. The knobs are very easy to use, you just season each one to your taste and off you go.

In a word- EXCELLENT. I bought one because my buddy brought his over and I was really impressed. I leave it in the boost setting and use it to turn my amp into a rock machine. It has a great open sound on the boost setting which is well suited to creating arena rock chord tones.
It is also very effective in the more compressed settings for lead playing.

I own 2 of these units, one for live and one for recording. I have high end gear and was simply looking to add susatin and pinch harmonics at a lower volume. The MOJO performs 100% for me even when I switch from Tele to Strat to Les Paul. It has 3 pots to mix as well as a 3 way switch. If you cant find the tone you want with all those options, you are tone deaf.

The Mojo Drive uses three basic overdrive knobs for Volume, Gain and Tone, as well as a three position toggle for countless tonal options. The toggle in the up position is like a Marshall type crunch. The Middle position Boost your signal, and the bottom toggle is a more vintage style overdrive, similar to a tubescreamer. All I need to get the tones I'm after.....

This is the best overdrive I've tried, and I tried most of them regardless of price. The Mojo isn't noisy, cleans up extremely well, and pumps out so much tone, you'll be grinning from ear to ear. When I got this I was looking for something in the Tube Screamer dept, but with a little more flexibility and better tone. If I need the TS compression it's there, if I need a more open tone it's there, if I need some crunch but not as compressed as a TS, I've got that too. The bottom is nice and doesn't flub out as you add the gain.
My main concern was that it would change the base tone of my amp, to a certain degree it does, not as much as others, a little more than others. But not enough to cause me any concern.
If you need gain (distortion) you've got it. If you need vol it's there too. The tone control is very effective which I find very important when using different amps.
I don't think the Mojo is a life changing effect, but worth what I spent. I can't see spending $400 + for a Landy to get the approximate tones. It's pedal for cryin out loud.

How easy is it to get a good sound out of it? I didn't find too many good sounds in it. I found the tone control very lacking. The only time it got close to natural sounding was with the tone control in the off position. Anything above that it had a very pronounced 1-3khz spike. I found it almost impossible to set in a live gig setting. At home I could take alot of time tweeking and find passable tones, but If I cant dial it in playing live, it just wont work for me. I'm not a bedroom player, I make my living playing guitar and look at effect pedals as tools I need to get the job done. I found this pedal as useful as a hammer with no handle.

I play a stock Strat, Hagstom D2F, and a 72 tele with duncan hums, thru a 67 fender showman head and fender 2x12 cab with tone tubby and naylor speakers. The Showman is 80 watts with huge clean headroom, it will expose the flaws in a pedal very quickly. To me, this was one of the worst pedals Ive come across. A standard tube screamer has a gradual low midrange hump. This pedal has a sharp high midrange SPIKE. I couldnt dial it out even with the tone knob off. It did have a nice gain structure it would go from clean to very mean with a nice gradual sweep. Even the note decay sounded nice and smooth. And it seemed to have enough output to drive the front of your amp, so using it as a boost was no problem. The flaw of this pedal is in the voicing. Kinda reminded me of a pedalworx TTS, except the two step sounded better.
Im my opinion lovekraft is close to having a nice pedal here,
but no cigar yet.
This pedal could be a winner if it was wired straight in the middle setting (ie,no compression mode) completely bypass the tone stack ( so it wouldnt add or subtract from your original tone) and used the tone knob as a control to adjust how much compression you wanted.
That would make it perfect for my rig.
Of course not everyone plays the same rig as me, so your experience may vary.

I bought this pedal on ebay. very nice swirl paint box.(alot nicer than the last donnerbox captain crunch I had). After a phone call to the builder, he did refund my money. So I was only out the cost of shipping to and from, about $16. Then about a week after I got my refund, lovekraft filed a unpaid item dispute on the auction. WTF,, I really didnt understand that. Unless it was so he could run another auction with that same pedal/serial number, or so he could save the 2bucks it cost to run the auction. I myself have refunded money on auctions before, but I would describe it as a return and just sell the item to someone else. I never felt it necessary to file a dispute. Wierd. So I have some mixed feelings here. But he did refund my money, so no biggie.

I bought this pedal after reading all the glowing reviews here on harmony central and on the gear page forums. Which leads me to believe that:
1. Everyone of these reviewers play entirely different rigs than me.
2. Lovekraft has a few friends that want to help him get his pedal business off the ground.
or.
3. These people wouldnt know a good tone if it bit'em on the butt.
I was pretty dissapointed with the sound of the mojo drive. I sent it back for a refund.
I own or have owned, lovepedal E/ Woodrow, Xotic RC,AC,BB, Aphek Sunday Driver/Peanut Butter, Way Huge Red LLama, Matchless HB, and many other boutique pedals, as well as Bad Monkeys and the like.
I can honestly say I would take the bad monkey over this pedal. The gain on the monkey dont sound as good as the Mojo Drive, but it is voiced alot better.
It is my opinon that if your looking for a good dirt pedal you can do better for less money.
The Aphek pedals,(awesome) and Xotic pedals, are in the same price range and sound miles ahead of the mojo drive.
I'm not trying to slam someones product. I'm sure some players will love this pedal.
But I like a dirt pedal to sound like I just turned my amp up.
To my ears the mojo drive just sounded like I turned on a AM Radio.

This pedal is pretty straight foward, and with the 3-way toggle switch in coordination with the gain and tone knobs a great many tones are possible. I've found if you really get to know the gain knob you'll find the pedal contains many "sweet spots."

Of course, this is where this pedal shines. I've found that different guitars favor different settings of the toggle switch. I use a american deluxe telecaster with two dimarzio humbuckers in the "vintage setting" and have found some great old-school boogie tones (that slight break-up sound all the way up to the brink of usable feedback). With a les paul with burstbucker pros in the "marshall" setting I've found an awesome mid-range overdrive/distortion that cuts right through a mix (a fender deluxe reverb competeing with an entire band). This pedal has tone in spades, and after alittle tweaking it becomes easy to understand how to get the exact sound you want (a problem alot of these "boutique" overdrive/distortion pedals possess). I'd also like to mention when not engaged it is absolutely transparent, something I can't say about my old ts-808.

Yep. I don't care about getting the sounds of my favorite artists. I care about articulation, fidelity, and a nice bouncy feel when playing. I like the notes to sag sometimes, and I like them to be immediate and urgent sometimes. This pedal will do both, really. Also, the different gain settings and the pure range of gain are all usable. This pedal goes from john mayer to brad paisely to acdc to guns n roses, though beyond secretly rocking out I have no use for the guns n roses setting. Not noisy, and it's very very strong sounding. It really pushes my amp nicely...I actually don't know how to put it, but somehow it makes my amp punchier. Oh by the way, I play a custom strat (solid rosewood neck, alder body, stainless frets, bone nut and custom pickups) through a heritage patriot. Basically the cleanest prettiest sounding setup I've ever heard.

This guy's offering a money back gaurantee for this product. That's just ridiculous when you think about it. I play blues (the clean kind all the way to the compressed overdriven kind), country, fusion, hard rock, flamenco, slide, chicken pickin, metal, etc. There is no style of guitar that I don't love to play. I do this for a living, I've been playing for a while, and I've owned alot of high end professional quality amps and pedals. Right now, I use only one amp for all my stuff, a teese wah, a homebrew compressor, an a.c. booster, a brick, and the mojo drive. This setup allows me a wealth of tones. If it were stolen, I'd buy two more. This pedal has been compared to every damn boutique pedal out there, and it just smokes everything I've ever tried or heard used. I wish it had...breasts. Yep, that would round out the whole package. Breasts and a coffee dispenser. Also, it's gonna keep me playing well into the night tonight, so the breasts and coffee would be good for that, too... Hmmm, this company has something here that, if marketed correctly, could knock every other overdrive pedal off of the shelves. I've never played anything I've enjoyed more, honestly.

The only hard thing about this little jewel is deciding where to place the knobs and switch. Way too many cool sounds to just have one on your board. Thank you sir may I have another?

I can't imagine any guitarist not digging the hell out of this pedal. The tones are so much more than just descent. I play a Strat through a Twin Reissue, and it smokes. It sounds amazing with the Maxon AD999 too (I might add). It's actually three extremely toneful OD pedals in one. I've owned many tube amps over the years, and I HONESTLY believe they're tones all obtainable with this pedal. It even sounds sweet through a cheap little crate. There's your expensive sounding low wattage boutique amp! Can't say enough about this one..

I haven't had it very long so I can't really make that determination. It does however look like your basic high quality piece of gear. I'm sure it would be just fine using without a backup. Think I'll get another one though just in case...

The only other thing I can really express about this pedal is that I wish the Mojo Drive had existed a few years ago. It's really inspiring to have a pedal that you know makes you sound good, no matter what kind of amp or guitar you're playing through. And the better the guitar & amp, well... need I say more. I'm really going to have to get me one of those Radial Re-amping devices now. Trust me, it's the poop.

The LoveKraft Mojo Drive is very simple, yet very versatile. There are three modes that have been discussed in the previous reviews. I also find that it is so versatile that I had to have two! Ethan at LoveKraft invited me over to try the prototypes. This pedal is incredible. It is three overdrive pedals in one. The controls and layout are simple. No matter how I set it, I love it.

Instead of getting really technical, I'd like to tell you why this is a great unit. No matter what I've tried, the new wears off and I sell it. I've paid $400 for some units and I've paid $50 for some units used. Each of them enthralls me for about a week and then I find I haven't used it for months. I've had my Mojo Drives for three months and I'm as excited about the sound I'm getting as I was at Ethan's the first time I tried them. I can't say anything more.

I won't fill you w/ BS. Ethan's a very good friend of mine. His attention to detail in anything he does shines through. If he can improve the construction or reliability, I would be surprised. He uses the best components and builds the Mojo Drives one at a time. I have about thirty hours on mine.

This thing kills in the sound department.I usually dread the "Amp-Like" analogy when talking pedals, but that fits this pedal to a tee.Does low gain drive with nice singing highs(how I'm using it right now),and can also get mean cause it has alot gain on tap.The toggle switches between clippings,I like the up position (symmetrical),but the down position(Asymmetrical) sounds nice too.I'm seriously considering a second Mojo Drive so I can have both a rhythm and lead setting.
I run this through either a '65 Blakface Fender Super Reverb or a Marshall DSL 50(Green Channel) and get fantastic sounds out of both.
I've tried alot,I mean alot of overdrives, and dirt boxes in general. This stands toe to toe with the high end pedals that are fetching crazy money.I a/b'd the Mojo with all the big ones (see Landgraff,Lovepedal E,808) before happily plopping my $150 down.
I can't recommend it enough.Try it yourself, and thank me later. The builder was a nice guy,and even gave me a two day try out period.Don't see that at a guitar show to often.Needless to say,I did'nt give it back.

I am a gigging musician, not a collector, so practicality and ease of use are a huge part of my decisions when purchasing gear. It is very easy to dial in ear-pleasing, musical sounding overdrive/distortion tones on the MojoDrive (I like the toggle down, with all dials approx half way). In fact, it's difficult to get a bad sound out of this unit. For stage use, the dials and LED are easy to see, and the toggle switch is out of the way, so as to not be accidentally bumped during operation. One request...during performances for us "variety band" musicians, it would be great to be able to toggle between distortion sounds with your foot instead of your hand - any chance of that modification happening?
Sound Quality
:

I am currently using this pedal in front of either a Fender Deluxe, or a Marshall 4-input style combo. As a "variety band" player, I have to be able to produce a wide range of sounds every night, and this pedal is the "distortion" part of my chain for bands like Jimmy Eat World, Joan Jett, and Collective Soul. For "overdrive" tones I still use a TS9 in my signal chain, but I am confident the MojoDrive would suit this purpose equally well (and without the midrange "honk" of the TS9). Additionally, this pedal responds well to the nuances created by adjustments to your guitar's volume knob - a technique I use frequently.

As a guitar player of almost 25 years, with a very high emphasis on tone quality and purity, I can say that this pedal is one of the best additions I've made to my rig. At a fraction of the cost, it rivals the sound of many of the most highly regarded boutique boxes out there. While the features of this product are the same as several overdrive products out there, the sounds is remarkably different.

This is where it really shines, it's my favorite OD pedal. I brought it over a buddys house who has all the expensive pedals and we compared it. It holds it own with most of the high end pedals, sounds very much like a Landgraff, and I was surpised to find that it sounds almost exactly like a Lovepedal Eternity also, only with slightly more gain available. Sounds way better than a Tube Screamer, I liked it lot better than a Fulldrive. This pedal never sounds muddy or flabby, even when cranked up. There's alot of good sounds in it, I don't think I've found them all.

I play everything from Classic Rock to Fusion and Blues, and this pedal delivers the goods for me. I bought 2 of these pedals and run them together and have them set for 2 different tones, so it's like having the best 3 channel amp w/o any sacrifices. It's a very musical pedal, has great "feel", and has allowed me to get rid of a bunch of boutique pedals that I thought were great but don't compare. I'll keep my Klon cause it's a bit different, but the majority of the others are going on the Gear Page this week! I like the fact that it can be set very neutrally and open sounding, making my amp sound bigger and richer w/o killing the amps natural tone. Two thumbs way up!!

The dealer/builder moved the DC power jack for me on mine. He re-drilled a new box for me ... I don't have an extra hole in the case where he normally puts the power jack. So I guess mine is unique. He did this at my request so the pedal fits better on my pedal board. That's customer service!

I can't imagine a better OD at any price. And the Mojo Drive is only $150. I've been a professional musician for over 25 years and have played all kinds of music. Now, I play in a 3-piece power-trio and for a church gig ... I have versatility in my sounds. I'm down to using only VHT and Bogner amps of various configurations and sizes. I play a strat, LP and EB Axis and use two small pedal boards (one in front of the amp and one in the loop). I recommend this pedal.

I tested the manufacturers demo model against the pedals mentioned in the previous post and found it to be the most satisfying of the group. The only pedal to come close was the Landgraff. The Mojo Tone can turn a single channel amp into a more versatile tone machine. I use mine with either a BFDR re-issue, a trainwreck Express "clone" a JTM45, or a 1x12 Marshall combo. It is not noisy at any of its' settings and has worked quite well for me on gigs. Irated it a nine because my hearing doesn't allow me to hear "pristine" anymore

To hang tonally with a Landgraff pedal at about one third the price makes the Mojo Drive an great value. Would I buy another if mine disappeared? Yes, I would. As they say on Ebay, "buy with confidence"!

Pretty straighforward pedal. The mini toggle has 3 modes, and the output level can be different on each, depending on where the gain is set (at lower gain settings the volume differences are not as dramatic). But it's pretty much set, and forget.

Phenomenal. Can be used as a clean boost, TS-9 type OD, or a flat out distortion pedal. With the toggle down, there's a pretty significant amount of gain. It makes every amp I've put it in front of sound better. I used to think I preferred the transparency of the TIM, for overdrives. But this pedal just adds the right amount of smooth, sustaining mids for lead tones. The low end stays nice and full. The tones are very complex, and break up into nice overtones as you hold the note. I'd give it a 10, but there's too many tens floating around in the reviews section these days!

3 knobs and a 3-way switch, how hard can it be to understand how to use this thing? The Mojo Drive has a gain, volume and tone control. It also has a switch that lets you choose between 3 levels or types of gain. I also dig the blue LED.

This is the best sounding OD pedal that I have ever owned. I have played it through both a Germino and a Trainwreck inspired Rocket Clone, and the Mojo worked very well with my guitar volume (Les Paul R0) to let me go from AC/DC crunch to Warren Haynes smooth lead tones. I would have to say that the pedal is like an SLO in a box. The dealer selling the pedal had it set up on a pedal board along with a TS-9 (Keeley modified), a Landgraff DO, a Fulldrive 2 and a Zendrive. The Mojo was the most natural tube type Od of the group. The Landgraff was a very close second with a very similar control layout and voicing.

The Mojo Drive is a handmade overdrive/distortion pedal designed to sound and feel exactly like a great amp cranked up. It is always FAT and tight sounding, never flabby or indistinct. The Mojo Drive boosts all frequencies; it will not cut your lows or give you a big midrange hump like many pedals can.

The Mojo Drive has 3 knobs: Volume, Tone and Gain, and a 3 way tone switch that gives it 3 distinct sounds. Only the best components are used: Switchcraft jacks, top quality 3PDT stomp switch for true bypass, mill-spec socketed IC, carbon composition resistors and nice film caps. In addition, the Mojo Drive is built on a commercial grade circuit board and is housed in a cast aluminum box that is very tough.
