This pedal kicks serious ***. It reacts like a real amp and has tons of gain if you need it. 3 knobs pretty simple. just play around with them till you find what works for ya. one footswitch.

I am using it with a few different amps. naylor, bogner, blackstar, marshall. when you crank the intense knob, it definitely has a bit of a noise thing goin on but not unbearable. the tone is killer. I like to roll off my volume alot and this thing works great that way.

I play blues rock and classic rock.. I am a pro and been doing it for 20 years plus. if I lost it or it was stolen , definitely I would get another one. I love how this pedal reacts like an amp. we tour alot and we use rented backline gear most of the time. alot of times we get really horrible amps. Ive been using a vox tonelab le through the effects return of the rented amps. Ive been looking for something a bit more organic. I am hoping this does the trick. This is a review for the Purple Plexi 100, NOT the new 800. The best Marshall Plexi sound in a pedal around. Med-high gain sounds and very touch sensitive. Growls with a great upper mid presence. The tone control adds a thick lower-mid fatness. The best I can describe is on the what I call Skinny side, kinda has the Zepplin Houses of the Holy album sound and on the Fat side, more of a old ZZ tone. Perfect attack and huge sound stage, It just hits your chest. Great pedal!! I'm using mine along with a PP800 for my higher gain sounds. Get One!!

Hardwired with black goop all over it. Built to last! Nerver had any problems with any of Sean's pedals.

I bought the pedal off of Ebay and called Sean to see if it was a real one and not a copy. He told me to get a pic of the inside and E-mail it to him. In a matter of minutes he e-mailed me back and told me it was right. What other pedal maker would do that! Amazing guy with a golden ear. Always has time to answer questions.
