Ease of Use
:
10
very easy 2 use, not much 2 say here. just plug in the mic or instrument and listen or record. the User guide is small & got everything U need.(or dont need, it's a pre-amp\compressor. not a complicating machine at all)
Sound Quality
:

i give it 8 at this category 'cause there R better pre-amps out there but they also costing much more than the tampa. 4 this price it's an absoulutly 10 in sound quality. it's sounds clear & warm. my mic's (sm57,sm58) sounds much better now & my guitar (Gibson Flying V-R67) is absoulutly sweet! i use it direct 4 clean sound & it's fantastic! the compressor is very helpfull & passing the sound very loyal 2 the source. (i wasn't sure it was even working, till i shouted 2 the mic & see that i got no sound peeks:)) a few bad things is that the attack is too short (10ms max) & the release is too long (250ms min) & there is no "make up gain" button.
Reliability

well it's placed safely at my studio & i hope it wont broke in the next 40 years. i dont see any reason 4 it 2 do so. it looks reliable.

Overall Rating

i play rock\pop\acoustic\electronic music. all my recordings (that comes out of the computer)sounds better now. been playing for 15 years.(recording 4 years.) if it got stolen i would by it again (maybe in a few years i will by something better) i love the sweet & clear sound that comes out of it. it's also looks very cool on my studio rack. it's sounds better then any other pre-amp at this price range & there R good reviews on it everywhere. the only really suck thing about it, is that the compressor dont have a "make up gain" button. that could have been very usefull. all in all it helps my music sounds better.
