MOEN Distortion Master

This is a pretty cool pedal with a lot of sound options.Comes with a manual showing knob locations and what the unit is capable of,but mostly just worked with it. Everything is laid out nicely.

This is a distortion pedal and that is what it delivers. I give Moen high marks for at least attempting to offer variety within the one box.There are settings for Scratch, Hot and Color. Each one does change the sound to a different degree. Scratch and Hot are what I prefer, but I do like the options it provides.Put this up against my Ibanez Sound Tank Tubescreamer and there is simply no comparison. The Distortion Master kills it in almost every way. It also has a Amp out button on the side that you can run this direct. I ran it through by Boss BR532 just to ensure that it would process and it did.I'm sure this is not the best way to utilize this function. This amp button also works as a pre-amp and it will really kick up the sound a few notches when engaged. I'm sure anyone can get a sound they like out of this box.

Had it 3/4 months... so far no problems... and not looking for them but I can always bring along my Sound Tanks.

All Moen effects are built into the same outer housing. Metal casings and very heavy. You certainly can't break it from stomping on it.

New to the US market and I'm sure there will be some contact issues, but mine came from a very responsive US seller, so I don't see a problem.

Again, great value for the price. Moen's roots are in handmade effects and I think there is something here for everyone. I have a couple of distortion pedals (sure everyone does) but I find myself coming back to the Moen.I run a pretty clean Fender amp signal on top and this really does crunch it up. Turn it all up and you feel like it really is moving some air, unlike some of the lame "tone specific" distort effects in it's price range. (at least new ones)
Moen has some good things going on with a price that everyone can join in on.
