This is MOEN's attempt at the Boss Blues Driver BD-2 pedal.
The MOEN has a decent tube sound when played through my Kustom Tube 12A amp.
Pos-Sounds good when using Clean & Crunch modes of the amp & at low/high volume settings.
Also tried it as a solo "booster" with Drive at zero & Level "full". It boosted great (minimal hiss) & added minimal "grit" to the overall sound.
Can get Stevie Ray / Hendrix (non-fuzz) / Lincoln Brewster tones.
Neg-MOEN's Drive knob set past 3 o'clock & MOEN's Level set to "full" there is some "clipping/muddying" when using the amp's Crunch setting.

Only had it for one month. Looks well built. Easy to get-to battery compartment. Says it is "true bypass" (don't know how to test that).

I only had a Boss SD-1 to compare it with & the MOEN definitely sounded more like a "tube" drive.
Gonna keep her. Great for jamming in your room. (I have a Fender-SuperSonic for stage, so this pedal is not needed there)
Influences are Blackmore, Hendrix, Page, Vai, Brewster, Satriani.
The price was right & for a "tube emulator" it is worth looking into.
If I lost it, I would replace it with same.
