My gear consist of Strats and Marshall plexi's. Effect is pretty quiet has a very slight hiss. Not there unless you look for it. Normal noise any effect would give, Just letting you know it's powered up. This is one killer little pedal. Sounds great especially when the analog setting is engaged. Sounds very warm and natural. Pedal will suit all of your delay needs for sure. And the price tag is awsome. I paid $111.00 over the net in the uk shipped to my door because it's not sold in the states yet. I have owned all of the boutique delays over the years including the new tc electronic analog delay. Which I sent back after 2 days, I didn't care for it at all. Overall kicking pedal great price.

Only own it for 2 weeks. Built like a tank. Should stand the test of time without any problems. Don't think a backup is neded.

Don't think I'll need to contact Marshall for this effect. But I have tried to contact them in the past for other things. They seem to ignore e-mails.

I play Hard Rock Metal great delay for the genre. Been playing 25 years. If stolen I would definitly replace it. I love this delay don't have anything bad to say about it. Compared to many others this one stands alone. Definitly fit my needs sure it will do the same for any others who seek delay.

This is really easy to use. Just hook up a non-latching footswitch (I use a bespeco- like the Boss/Roland on but loads of wonga less)and away you go. You can tap the tempo of the delays in even when the unit is turned off.

I use this in the effects loop of my laney TT50. Sounds great. The "hi-Fi" model sounds exactly like my Boss DD-3. Echo models are great and the "multi-tap" is great for Simple Minds/ U2 style riffs- and you can tap in the tempo of the repeats. The modulated and tape echo models are great for retro type things and the Analog model is like the Hi-Fi model but a bit less crystal clear. I am running this from a 9v PSU. I always try pedals with batteries to start with just to see how long they last- I got 10 minutes before the delays started to distort and sound Kack.

I have had a Marshall pedal before and the swith broke! I worked in a music shop and several customers had problems with Marshall pedals. I think they are as reliable as their amps..... :(
But i can always repair it if the switch does break and fit a quality one. So im not to worried.
I'll give it a 5 just because I'm not sure- I dont trust it.
