super easy one knob no brainer , old like dirt ,yet super nice analog pedal .that you dont find anything like it now a days .

Sound Quality : 9
my setup is lots of strats ,teles and combo amps such as bogner ,DR-Z ,victoria and carr . my setup is compressor .overdrive, distortion ,ROTOPHASE ,DELAY AMP .this pedal is not noisy at all compared with others and the effect is all there no weakness here .it is beautifully voiced to give you that chewey rotary phase like no other .. you can get the UNIVIBE thing easily out of tis baby by adding a bit of chorus after it ..combined with a bit of delay ...ohhh it is orgazmic .i can get the sound that is in my head and has been for a while out of this little baby .just straight forward no bullshit ..the name says it all rotophase and that is what this pedal does . perfection is only for God so although it is a 10 .but i dont know there could be somethign better out there . works very well with overdrive and distortion pedals

Reliability : 10
this pedal is built like a tank . jeez sometime in the late 70's if am not mistaking also check out there distortion pedal as well great thick and dark distortion .

Customer Support : No Opinion
LOL well some of them might be in there grave by now LOL .

Overall Rating : 9
i play mostly blues now a days but i love the 80's . so now and then i will go for that .been playing for 21 years .spent tons of money on effect pedals TONS !!! .THIS PEDAL DOES IT FOR ME TO GET THAT ROTARY SPEAKER PHASE TONE going into the univibe teretory . man let me tell you something if you are looking for a delay pedal ,there is nothing like BOSS nothing ( in the form of a pedal )( if were talking rack mount units ,then that is a defferent story ). but if you are looking for old sounding effects such as phasers ,overdrives ,and rotary ,univibe ,octavia ..there is nothing like the old pedals .there were made right back then . well i dont know if there is anything out there to compare to .. but compared to sweet mojo and dejavibe and this was the winner in both cases . i love the watery chewey hepnotic effect this old bag does , i love this pedal the way it is simple and effective . if it were lost or stolen .that would be a very bad day taking the fact that it took me 3 years to find one .not too many know about this little wonder there are super rare and to find another would be painfull .and if i ever find the guy who stole it i will hang him by the balls .with the rotophase dangling from his dig .with a not saying dont ever try stealing my rotophase LOL nothing in life is perfect ..ohh except my wife LOL

This thing is great! One "rate" knob, on/ off switch. I love the top-mounted jacks, makes it easy to put on a pedalboard. Nice blue paint job, box is a little bigger than a MXR.

Sound Quality : 8
Much more articulate sound than a Phase 90. It has a rather "transparent" quality to as well, it enhances your sound instead of overtaking it. Very 70's sounding, probably because it was made in the 70's, duh!

Reliability : 9
Seems very reliable so far... I've installed "true-bypass" switch. It's a keeper for sure, it seems to be rather rare to find to boot!

Customer Support : No Opinion
"Memphis" was manufactured by the early Maxon Co., I believe. They may support them, but I'm not sure.

Overall Rating : No Opinion
I use this pedal for all of my phase shifting needs. I have a MXR Phase 90, Ibanez PT 909, and EH Small Stone for backups just in case.
