Pretty straightforward - 3 knobs: speed, depth, and wave. No need for a volune control, since it seems to neither boost nor cut my volume. All 3 knobs genuinely do what they say, with lots of range. Speed goes from verrrry slow to freaky fast. Depth ranges from barely there to full-on helicopter. Wave ranges from smooth through sawtooth to square wave. There is even a plastic battery compartment in one side, so no screwdriver is required for changes. Standard bossy 9v adapter, top-mount jacks. An amber LED flashes with the tremolo rate whether the effect is engaged or not, which can be distracting for dogs and guitard players. A second excessively-bright LED indicates effect engagement.

A tip: since so many booteeky builders are putting blinding LEDs on their pedals, i have taken to putting medical paper tape over them. Doesn't leave a residue, knocks the brightness down about half. Also good for marking settings.

I sure like it. I'm not a tremolo connoisseur, but this pedal is useful.

Here is my (current) setup:
Humbuckers > Teese Wizard Wah > Korg Pitchblack Tuner > Analogman CompRosser > Analogman Sun Face > DNA Analogic Purple Phase > Greer Royal Fromage Boost > Greer Claymore > MXR 6-band EQ > HBE Mock 1 Delay > Pleasure Trem > Sovtek Mig-60 amp with Lord Valve mods > Mesa 1/2 back 4 X 12. I know, odd, but effective.

Very clean, no noise. Plays well with the other kids on my board.

At extreme settings the Pleasure Trem gets some wonderfully synth-like sounds. Think "Won't Get Fooled Again" synthesizer, with very non-guitarish tones. Hit it with some distortion and delay and you'll think the evil robots have come to get you. Back off the controls and Mission of Burma's "Trem 2" can be done. Sweet!

Not sure how to rate these sound qualities, so I will resist.

Looks very solid. The case is bent steel. The knob pots are hard-wired to the PCB, but the jacks aren't. Minus a point; however, the case is not going to flex any, so the design is probably fine.

No basis for a rating (maybe in a year). If anything goes wrong, I will update this posting.

No basis for a rating. Hope there won't be.

I agree with the posting below. I play rock music on beer-soaked stages in cruddy bars, so I have no tolerance for fiddly, fragile gear. This pedal seems like a winner so far. Very versitile.

Oh, regarding the footswitch location - I agree that it should be centered. There is plenty of room inside. The decision seems to have been based on a desire not to interrupt the flowing logo... sheesh.

Overall, I like & recommend it.

Very simple/ Three knobber/ couldn't get easier

Sound Quality : 10
It sounds really nice. It's hands down one the best I've played and I use it all the time. I use it with an older jcm800 and a 66 twin . I love them both. It is the most transparent tremelo around.

Reliability : 10
I have the older point to point wired one. I have never tried the newer ones. It is built really well. I don't see this this crapping out on me.

Never dealt with them

The best trem in a pedal I know of and I have had many. The Demeter is nice but this one just has that sound. Again Mine is the older 3 knob point to point one. I've owned it for years and still dig it.

Very easy to use. 3 knobs for Speed, Wave (triangle or Square), and Depth. Has an LED with speed indicator so that makes it easy to match tempo without having to turn the pedal on first. I do wish the footswitch was a bit more centralized. I have a crowded pedal board so i'm forced to create additional space on the right side of the pedal. For that I must deduct.

I'm using a Guild bluesbird ran through an Ernie Ball Volume > Fulltone Clyde Wah > Zvex Ooh Wah > Zvex SHO > Stamps Drive-o-matic (looking for something else) > Menatone Pleasure Trem > Danelectro Cool Cat (it was free)> Line 6 Delay Modeler > Little Lanilei Reverb pedal > VHT Valvulator > VHT Pittbull Classic head with Marshall 4x12. What I was looking for a great sounding True-bypass Tremolo that you could change settings with on-the-fly. I tested the Supa-trem, but I liked the sound the Pleasure Trem better. Granted, the supa-trem has more options, but this just was more versatile in it's ability to get vintage and modern trem sounds. All controls are interactive, but not over-sensitive. I'm still working it over to get my exact sound, but I know that sound is in there.

This was also very important to me. I needed a pedal that could withstand the rigors of rock. I've had too many pedals flake, so I just wanted something that would last. This is nearly indestructible with it thick metal casing and rock-worthy switch. As long as you keep consistent power (via the VHT Valvulator) I'm pretty sure this is going to last. I've only had it a few days so this is all speculative.

I play Brit-rock with more rock than that genre is normally accustomed. I've been playing for 5 years composing for 4. I don't know that I'd buy it again if It were lost or stolen. I'd probably invest in a Lovetone Wobulator. I love it's simplicity hate the footswitch placement. I wish the speed knob was easier to adjust with your foot, but it's still pretty easy. It's easy to incorporate into the music, as any trem should be. This is the most road-worthy tremolo I tried, It isn't overly spectacular, but I have enough of the spectacular, now I just need quality.
