The gain and vol are inneraktiv,so it may take some spear mentin,kinda like a bsiab.then its how much treble ya want and resonance fer bass.

The pedal has great tone and plenty of vol on tap.It can go from blues to krankin krunch.Great response with guit vol knob as well.The gain and vol knobs are very inner active.The reso(bass) knob is a feature all pedals should have,the only pedals I have kept are ones with some type of bass control(xotic bb,wayhuge pork loin,byoc od2(mosfet build),sobbatt drive master,etc.This pedal stacks well with other pedals.I like to play krunch ryth with it and hit it with a lovepedal amp50 in front of it for solo`s,it smooths out some of the briteness of th amp50(great simple pedal).This pedal uses transisters for clpping which I like very much.

I like this pedal so much I want another one to set at low gain.I can`t understnd why other builders can`t seem to understand the plus side of having bass control on your pedals.Hats off to Brian for a great pedal.I would like to see one made with 2 jfets for lower gain.
