Ease of Use : 9
It's an AB box - you plug your guitar in on the left, tuner/amps/effects on the right and stomp on the switch to change between the two. Or you can switch between two different guitars if you're that way inclined. The only reason I'm giving this a 9 is because the two jacks on the left weren't labelled, so I didn't immediately know which jack was connected when the LED was red or green. Judging by pictures on the site, the newer ones have labels on them, so I wouldn't anticipate any confusion with them.

Sound Quality : 10
I use my ABominiser to switch between my tuner and the rest of my effects, so I can tune up silently. It's also useful for muting between songs. There is absolutely no drop in sound quality at all - the switching is always silent, no pops can be heard.

Reliability : 10
Sturdy as a rock. The enclosure and switch are very strong - I tend to stamp on the switch pretty hard when playing live, and it's stood up to my size 12 feet well. I had a peek inside and it's very nicely put together, the wiring is neat and tidy and nothing seems loose. I've already used it several times without a backup, and I'd happily do it again. It's also got 4 rubber feet on the bottom which prevent it from slipping around.

Customer Support : 10
Andi is a great guy to do business with - he answered all my questions in a friendly and informative manner, and kept me informed throughout the building process. Take a look at his site to see what other products he offers: http://www.monkeyfx.co.uk

Overall Rating : 10
I play alt rock with my band, and there's a couple of songs where I need to change from standard tuning to drop d quickly. The Abominiser allows me to do this quickly and professionally. If it was stolen I'd definitely buy another one. The dual-colour LED is very cool - I've got it set up so it's red when I'm connected to the tuner and green when I'm going through my other effects.

Ease of Use : 10
It's an A/B box so it can't get any easier.

Features: one input; two outputs; a sturdy footswitch; a bi-colour LED.

Sound Quality : 10
I run my guitar into the input with the effects chain off one output and TU-12H tuner off the other. It doesn't sound of anything (which is good) =D

Reliability : 10
The footswitch has a very solid feel to it so I wouldn't be worried about it failing in a live situation.

Customer Support : 10
Andi is a top-drawer bloke - emails/correspondance are friendly and informative. The units are also built to order so he'll provide you with plenty of colour options if desired.

Overall Rating : 10
The unit is VERY compact meaning that there shouldn't be any space issues on anyone's pedalboard - however, this does mean that it needs to be mains powered if you want the LED to work. Not a problem for me, but you would need to ask Andi for a bigger enclosure if you want a 9V battery to sit inside it.

Overall, I couldn't be happier. A very sweet price for a rock solid piece of equipment. The guy also builds custom switchers if desired....definitely check MonkeyFX out =)

Ease of Use : 10
Its a straight foward AB switch. Couldn't be more simple.

Sound Quality : 10
Sound quality is great, i notice no degredation in the siganl that goes through the ABominiser.

Reliability : No Opinion
I've only had it a few months so can't comment on its long term reliabilty. It seems sturdy though so i imagine i will not need a replacement. I actually use it to switch between 2 guitars so it sits on top of my rack, thereffore i switch it with my hand not my clumpy feet. This i imagine will mean it will last forever.

Customer Support : 10
Very helpful, great e-mails etc.

Overall Rating : 10
It does exactly what i bought it to do. It was cheaper than any other AB switch i could find and its made by a fellow Brit so that can't be bad.
