quite easy to use... the knobs control what they say they control, the manuals very helpful in getting a sense of how it works/what it does... tweek around with it, find out what you like...

sounds beautiful. has truebypass (apparantly... see my 'customer support' review)... there's a broad range here, i play a guitar i moded as a tenor guitar (basically i put some bass strings on it and play an alternate tuning), the effect has no trouble and sounds great at any frequency, low to high... i play that through an Audiozone tube amp, the effect itself is all analog, voltage controlled, it's sick...

it's not built 'like a tank', as so many reviewers say, but it's not a piece of crap, either... it looks very nice. i'd take it to a gig, but i'd be very careful with it, mostly b/c it's expensive. just like i'd be careful with any of my music equipment though. but it isn't built like a stomp box. i'm planning on getting a little table for it and some of my other analog pedals, just for easier access to the knobs, which are fun to turn...

i first opened this thing up, was excited to try it, started experimenting it was awesome... then i realized that the stomp switch didn't work. as cool an effect as this is, i'd like to be able to turn it on and off. i sent them an email, they got right back to be with a number to send it in and everything, didn't ask for proof of purchase or anything. but it's been a month and i still don't have my pedal back. i called them, and tech hasn't even LOOKED at the pedal yet. all that's wrong is the stomp switch!!!! moog, please send me back the pedal!!! and while your at it, offer to re-imburse me for the shipping and maybe give me a discount on my next purchase... a brand new pedal should work right!

i think this all depends on actually getting the pedal back. i hate having to hastle people for things that basically should be a given. a brand new pedal under warranty... they shouldn't be fixing it for me, they should just be sending me a new pedal. and i shouldn't have to wait months for it. or pay to ship it to them. grrrr....
