Ease of Use : 9
This is a review of the Moogerfooger bundle #3 found at the moogmusic website. This particular bundle includes: MuRF, Ring Mod,12 stage Phaser, rack mount kit,and wall warts.
The 1st thing you have to do is assemble the rack. You are require to move two of the wood panels from the unit you mount in the center. Depending on which unit you decide to place in the middle dtermines the amount of screws you have to take out and replace.Moog provides you with all the parts and its pretty easy and straightforward to assemble but a little time consuming ( you will need a phillips and needle-nose plyers
) Aside from the Studio Electronics stomp boxes this bundle is the most attractive I have seen to date.
Hookup: Moog has provided every conceivable hook-up combination- a multi channel snake is recomended if you are mounting this in studio type setting.Optional controller pedals and switches are essential if you plan to take full advantage of the FX in a live setting which admittedly could be overwhelming.Three wall warts- so leave room on your quad box and isolate it.

Sound Quality : 9
I used this bundle with keyboard signals from a balanced patch bay.
I found I had to crank the output up to full to get enough level to my DM2000. The pedals handle the full freqeuncy range of any sound nicely. But some of the FX where a little hissy.Of these 3 units, only the MuRF has stereo outs- my major complaint as these pedals are NOT cheap. The overall sounds is audiophile quality but the Moog MAS plug-in bundle will sound just as good in the mix.

Reliability : 6
While the knobs are way-retro-cool, the rocker switches are cheap and I dont have confidence in them lasting long or taking much abuse which is curious as these items are in fact stomp boxes.

Customer Support : No Opinion
Moog was back-ordered, had to wait about two week. Response emails were a bit sluggish but well explained.

Overall Rating : No Opinion
This is a luxury unit, with a luxury price.I dont reccomend it to casual buyers or beginners. Consumers will buy it for the same reason they buy a Mercedes and thats for the brand logo.Mine will most likely be hermatically sealed in the orginal boxes and bequeathed to my survivng son.
