4 knobs volume amount of wah saturation and a six way tone selector. Other than that its a wah wah pretty self explanitory.

I modified this more when I purchased it to make it exactly how i wanted it. It was basicly a vox shell and circuit board with dunlop crybaby parts that had been hot rodded. I swapped inductor for a yellow fasel and changed the caps. before it was a 6 now its a 9, allways room for improvement.

i play classic rock, blues, metal and alot of acoustic. i have too much gear to list, my main setup is a les paul special with seth lovers in it, this wah, lovepedal ho, nick greere fwb prototype, proco ratt, a custom a b y switch, duncan 60 convertable(awsome amp)and a mesa studio caliber dc2. THIS WAH IS GREAT. if it were stolin i would be mad at the world and then build one just like it I made a scamatic of it just in case. it has contributid more to my playing than any other peice of equipment i have.

This wah has 4 knobs (2 on each side of the foot board).
It took me awhile to find the right sound I was looking for.
There was no manual that came with this pedal (I got it used off of Ebay).

I used a Fender American Standard Stratocaster plugged into an Ampeg Superjet SJ-12T.
First off the pedal was not noisy at all ... the only time it made any kind of noise was when I moved some of the knobs there would be a static like sound coming through the speaker (but I have a couple of other pedals that do the same thing, so that's was OK to me).
At first I couldn't get a really good wah sound out of it .. I was using the 9 volt battery that was in it and afetr I thought about it, I figured maybe the 9 volt was almost drained, so I plugged the pedal up to an AC adapter ... the sound was drasticly changed, it sounded great (lots of cool wah sounds just by barely moving any of the 4 knobs).
After I got the wah to sound cool, I started playing with it with other effects, those effects were: a Boss BD-2 (modded by Robert Keeley), Marshall BB-2, Boss BD-2 and a Boss CS-3 all being mixed and match with the wah and all of the sounds were good.
Some of the wah sounds I didn't care for, but it's nice to have them just in case I'd ever want that sound.

The case is made of steel (looks like a Dunlop Crybaby case, but painted gloss blue) and very heavy.
If anything happens to it I still have my Dunlop crybaby.

A pretty cool sounding wah pedal (after plugging it into an AC adapter). I like the blue paint job on the pedal but I don't care for the hand written (in black sharpie) describing the knobs (volume, freq, cream, saturat) ... Idon't know if the maker wrote it or if the original owner wrote it ... to me I'm going to see if I can get the writing off and just mark the boss type knobs with a "v", "f", "c" and "s".
I've been playing guitar for over 10 years and own lots of gear (5+ amps, 12+ guitars, 20+ pedals, etc.) and for the price I thought this was a neat pedal.

this one has a fulltone pot, inductor and true bypass switch. i had onw tith dunlop pot and inductor and switched over to the fulltone pot and inductor--the difference was night and day!! this wah is rude and aggressive,m but can be subtle too. between the 6 position q knob, volume boost, cream and saturation knobs any wah sound is possible. i am using it with a relic strat w/ lindy frlains into a top hat clube deluxe. i have dozens of boutique pedals, but mainly i use barber, fulltone, voodoo lab, analogman pedals and an ibanez analog delay.

Hard to get a good sound because of such poor construction. Noisy switches, pots that hum and scratch. RFI troubles. C'mon. It's a wah-wah. This should have been easy.

First off, the only parts that worked right were the Dunlop pot and inductor. The "Cream" control (oh yeah, that's a descriptivly named control) fouls the signal. I get LOTS of radio interference when I use the control. And he calls it a "Must Have" control on his site. Rubbish! The sweep selector pops REALLY loud when I turn it. Overall it sounds like a cheap imitation of a Dunlop 535Q or Snarling Dog. Waste of money.

Forget about using this thing live. Like I said before, the level of construction is utter rubbish.

I've been playing over 30 years. This guy tries to pass himself off as a poor man's Fuller, AnalogMan, and Teese. With the quality??? of his pedals, POOR is the key word. You want a real wah, get a Teese RMC or Fulltone Clyde. Want a Ross compressor, buy a Ross or get AnalogMan to mod something for you. DO NOT EXPECT TO GET A QUALITY PRODUCT FROM THIS GUY. Don't believe the 4 star glowing reviews. Can you say "Troll".....
WANKER!!!

I gave it a 9 because it ahs more controls than a normal wah which is really cool in my opinion. You can dial in good tones in no time.

This is my favorite wah. I can get good vocal sounds as well as deep envelope type sounds. The external controls make it so easy to dial in the tone. I have many different types of amps and guitars. Gibons, Fender, PRS and they all sound superb.

. Could be a 10 because it is just a wah wah pedal, but the side pots scratch and the rotary switch is really noisy.

Like I said above, the controls are so noisy to use they are basically unusable. It seems like they have DC running through them they are so noisy. Dunlop pot and inductor. Sweeps are too radical to use. The overall effect of the controls seems to be to muddy up the signal. This is suppose to be a great wah, handmade by MM and it looks like nothing but old POS Dunlop parts to me... Hmmm

To start, the orange case was very squeaky and possibly a reject casting. The front is crooked. The wiring is pure Mickey Mouse. One of the wires broke the first day I had it. The sweep switch pops so loud when I switch it I?m afraid it will blow my speakers. No way I?d use it on a gig or any of my clients as well.

N/A Pointless. This pedal was hand made and supposed to be the best he could do. No point in sending it back because he obviously doesn?t know what he is doing in the first place. I got it in trade towards ome other pedals, wish I hadn't committed to doing since it turned out like this...

This thing is a real wanker. The other reviews have got to be bogus. The MMFX Custom Wah sure is. Got it in trade towards some other pedals I have and I sure can?t sell it now. Looks like it has to hit the old trash pile. Least the feet are usable? Wow, that is a lot to pay for feet these days...
