Very simple. Footwitch at bottom left of pedal to switch between wah and volume. I can kick it on/off with my heel with my foot on the pedal or with my toe. Some people don't like that, but it works for me. Indicator led on for wah, off for volume.

Signal chain: Schecter PT-->Boss CS-3--->Morley BWV--->VooDoo Labs Sparkle Drive--->Digitech Tone Driver--->Boss DS-1--->Boss CE-2--->Digitech RP-100--->Peavey Triumph 120 Tube amp or Peavey XXX Super 40 Tube amp
This is not a crybaby or vox wah sound. It's Morley. It sounds great with a tubescreamer type distortion and a good signal boost in front of the wah. Some other distorted wah sounds can sound weak. It also sounds cool with a tap tempo delay and a light crunch sound.
Without a heavy distortion, the sound can be nearly gone with the wah on in heel position, though.
According to the Morley website, this pedal line (Black Gold) was built from '83-'90. I just bought it used (and it looks well used) and the sound is flawless---good sweep, no dead spots, no crackle, no noise!

This pedal is between 14 and 21 years old and works perfectly. It is very tankesque in its construction. I could stand on it and it wouldn't break.

For $39, this is a friggin steal (I saw it on a "vintage gear" dealer site for $109)! If I upgrade to a different wah, then I've got a smooth, quiet volume pedal. I play blues/rock. If it were stolen I would find another Morley. Its big and clunkly looking, and I love it. I put some non-skid tape on the treadle.
Uses two 9v batteries; haven't tracked down an AC adapter for it yet (has 1/8" phone plug and requires 12-20v). Mini manual of sorts printed on the bottom---how cool is that.
If you want a really agressive screaming wah sound, this isn't it. It is a cool sound, though.
