This unit is easy enough to use as wah pedals shouldnt be complicate

Sound Quality : 1
Ok, it pretty much goes downhill from there, this unit sounds like an utter piece of crap...I dont know how I managed to trade me old dunlop gcb bass wah for this thing...the only thing it had going for it that was useful for me was that it was switchless..other than that it's sounds like shit especially with bass overdrive you. The only thing it souds like is an annoying buzzzzzzzzzzzz....not good. I was using it through a peavey tko 115 combo and a peavey mark III head with homemade 1X15 cab at the time I had it for awhile which may explain some bad sound of this unit but i doubt it was the amps.

Reliability : 9
I'm sure it's relieable but whats the point of putting crap in your signal chain.

On an overall whole i would give it a 2 just cause it was switchless and probably would be at least reliable but thats as far as it goes this pedal sucks. I have been playing for over 6 years on bass and I have a top of the line Ampeg rig with an assortment of basses. I play a range of heavy metal, hard rock and blues. Lets just say after the waste of time and money with this pedal, I made it a point of just shelling out the extra cash and go with the friggen dunlop crybaby 105Q for christ sake or dont even buy a bass suited wah get a dunlop jimi hendrix wah or something and use it on bass instead. If I had it lost or stolen ah well...I can relate to this cause at one gig i had all my effects stolen, but if it were in the batch i wouldnt even think of replacing it.

Wah really ain't easy. Sure, the pedal is obvious, but getting a good sound is hard from any wah. The level knob on this thing needs to be fine tuned (i.e. I wouldn't recommend adjusting it with your foot).

Sound Quality : 3
Doggy doo-doo. I picked this up after playing bass for three months to give myself a creative boost. At first I liked it (not knowing the differece) but now that I've had it a while I'm tired of it. If your battery isn't brand new the wah gets really whiny/tinny. There is a spot in the middle of the range that sounds like a strangling donkey. I find that on any level beyond slightly above minimum the sound boost from the wah switching on is unbearable. I put a little piece of foam under the pedal so it's always engaged. That shouldn't be necessary.

Reliability : 10
A reliably bad sound!

I play a fairly wide array of styles and was looking forward to the funkifying effects of a bass wah. I'd like to get a different wah that will work with both my bass and guitar (if such a thing really and truly exists) and would cry for the guy who stole it from me or the pawn shop that gave him $5 for it. A massive disappointment that took too long to surface. I don't give it a 1 because you CAN use it, if you are extremely careful in the range you swing the rocker, to accent notes and make some (I must, at the end, admit) reasonably good sounds. Perhaps I've just not put in the obligatory 100 hours with this thing to understand its moods. Doubt it.

It is just like the switchless wah. Just step on it and iit's on.

I was excited about this pedal at first, but when I plugged it in, I was so disappointed. It was like this thing had no high end boost which is what I am used to. I ended up taking it back within the same hour I bought it.

Didn't need it.

I am a bassist and I play hard rock, metal. That pedal was not made for that kind of music. It was more for jazz or blues than anything. I am now using a Morley NSW which is 100 times better than this thing. When you go out and looking for a Bass pedal remember this, Morley pedals are made for both Bass and Guitar.
