Sturdy and simple and satisfying. Nice battery access. Two l.e.d.'s
3 knobs. Distortion intensity. Distortion Tone. Distortion volume.
Volume knob does not set pedal level.

I really love it. Volume very smooth. Wah tonally full and "easy to hear" Some wahs don't seem to cut through.
I was very pleasantly surprised with the distortion. I thought it would just be like the old morley fuzz but it's a nice juicy and
rich overdrive. It's a classic sound so if you are an old geezer
like myself and like Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin, and Cream you WILL
LIKE this distortion circuit. If you are a young metal dude you
might not and would probably want whatever a magazine says some dude
uses.

Again, I have never dealt with anyone in this regard. I guess I've been lucky or I else I just get something new.

I got it for wah and volume but love most the distortion. I was going
to get the one that has just wah and volume but I thought I might as well get the one with distortion and of course I'm glad I did.
Morley in my opinion goes the extra mile and they have quality products with a touch of class about them.

Very easy to use wah and volume, but hard to dial in good distortion.

The distortion is not my cup of tea, but the wah sounds great! Any way you slice it, distortion (overdrive) before, after, or both this pedal can handle it cleanly and with headroom to spare. Also, I get some phat-ass feedback when I sweep back to the bass side and leave it in the right position for a few seconds.

I play funk mixed with some mellow funk and occasionally raunchy funk. I also like rock, rap, reggae and jam/improv. This pedal can hang! The only problem is that you will need to purchase the power supply wall wart 9v plug. The sound quality suffers without it...it's too much to ask from a 9v battery.

Overall, the wah function is pretty good but very sharp. Fuzz is flacid... Volume function is off (no sound) when pedal is up (heel). Construction is good. But, and this is a big BUT, the switches that turn the wah and fuzz functions on/off are very NOISY, so noisy in fact that I'm returning this unit back for a refund!

Wah is good, pretty usable, but doesn't sound anywhere as good as the original Morley Power Wah pedals from the 70s (which is what I used to have and I'm going to rebuy another one). The fuzz is basically like an overdrive (smooth) circuit and can be thrown away and not used. The volume pedal function is passable but I don't like the fact that the volume is off completely when the pedal is back, and when pressed down all the way the volume is less than when the wah is engaged. In other words, it's quite hard to obtain even volume settings with no effect, wah, and/or fuzz.

Overall, I give this pedal a 4-5. It isn't worth buying, the extra volume and fuzz settings aren't very useful, the tone of the wah can't be adjusted - my cheapie $20 wah pedal from Korea works/sounds better than the Morley. The switches for turning the fuzz and wah on/off are so incredibly loud that it renders the pedal virtually unusable. In sum, this pedal sucks the big weenie - save yourself from this piece of crap and get an original Morley Power Wah or Power Wah/Boost, etc. from the 70s (the big chrome ones - they're always for sale on Ebay). Just make sure that you get a working pedal as the old ones sometimes are screwed up, particularly the glue that holds the optical ribbon intact to the chassis dries out and the functions fail to operate when you press the on switches and move the pedal up/down. I was very disappointed with this pedal.

I'm using a washburn xb100 and a peavey basic 112 amp. You have to turn the gain up and set the knobs on high to get a good sound. There is also a certain way you strike the strings, I use my fingernail and strike the strings to get a good sound. My amp isn't very good and that makes a difference. My bass is ok, but i could use better pickups. You can get the pedal to sound like cliff burtons anesthesia solo, but the real pedal he used was a Morley Power Wah Boost, so I'd recommend getting that if thats the sound your heading for.

I play hard rock/heavy metal and it works pretty good to get those sounds. I've been playing about a year. I own a korg px3b pandora and a bassballs. If it got stolen I would buy something else, but I'd still be upset. I love the wah sound it can get. The distortion alone is the worst part. My fav. feature is the footpedal, how you can make it fade in and out or a fast phasing. Comparing it to most pedals like it, its in between.

It is a snap to use. A distortion button with level, drive, and tone knobs, and a wah button with level. No buttons equals a decent volume pedal.

Now while this pedal is easy to use, you have to fight for really great sounds. I use a Gibson Corvus III (officially the world's ugliest guitar) through a Peavey 112 (bucket-o-noise). That doesn't help my sound either, but even through great systems you really have to tinker with it. Don't buy this pedal for vintage thick sweeping wah. Still!!!! You can find some unique sounds with it. Switch your guitar to treble and play with alot of muted barre chords and it gets interesting. It does have some good tones with the wah in a fixed position. You can add some bite with it on wah only cocked all the way down or get a good 70's rock sound with the wah half cocked. The distortion is nothing to speak of. I only use the distortion if I want to make my sound really suck.

This guy takes abuse. It is all metal(except knobs). It is one of the toughest pedals I have seen. Don't baby this one. Just don't leave something plugged in for an extended amount of time. If you watch that one thing the battery will last forever. You can get an adaptor for $11.00 at Radio Shack, just make sure you match the pedal requirements on the bottom of the pedal.

Good product, not earth shattering, but good solid, decent sound and dependable. I would most likely buy another one if this one got stole. I don't like the distortion. I hardly ever use it. I use a KORG Toneworks pedal to give me my drivers. I believe it is more versitile than the Crybaby wah, but not the "classic" wah sound. Not any pedals that do what this one does for the price. It does take time to extract the really cool sounds out of it. After you learn what it can do, it is pretty useful. I like it.

As with any wah, this thing is easy to use. But if you want to know if it's easy to get a good sound out of it, well... in my opinion, the answer is no.

I'm using this with a Jackson DK3, a Marshall Jackhammer distortion pedal, and a Marshall practice amp (G10 MK II). The main problem is that for my style, this pedal has no bite. The wah is kind of bland, and you can forget about the distortion -- it just doesn't rip. Don't get me wrong, this isn't a horrible pedal, it just doesn't assert itself. It's passable wah, passable distortion -- so in other words, you might want to look elsewhere.

Maybe this pedal simply isn't a good match for me. I'm not looking for a progressive rock sound -- and this might be good for that. I'd advise anyone interested in this pedal to try thoroughly before you buy. It sounded okay in the store, but when I got home (and away from the din of all the 15-year-olds near me making noise), I found it a little disappointing. I would have lived with it, but I wound up buying a wah I do like -- the Duncan Crybaby 535. The Morley is an attractive package: distortion, wah and volume, but it fails to excel in the first two categories.

The mysterious man above is totally correct with this pedal. Ease of use is a 10. plug it in and away you go. That simple. There is a switch for the wah with a knob for the level. There is a switch for the distortion with two knobs drive and tone. With both the wah and distorion off its a volume pedal. All the way up is full volume and all the way down is no volume.

The sound quality is great. I love the sound. The distortion is good and the wah is better. The volume feature is great too. I'm using this with a PRS single cut through Boss digital delay DD-5, an Ibanez PH-7 phaser, an Ibanez DS-7 distortion, and a Digitech whammy 1 pedal to a Marshall JCM 900 half stack with a slant cab. The morley is right in front. No noise sound quality is a ten.

Overall a is a ten. All in all this one hell of a pedal. I play mostly rock and this is a good pedal to use. If it was stolen i would definety get another one if I didn't kill myself first. This is definetly an awesome pedal. Don't think about it just go buy one may I suggest Guitar Center. Tell the Steve sent you. Even though my name isn't Steve and if it were they still would wonder who the hell you're talking about.

I LOVE this pedal. I play professionally, trust me, you've heard my work. I hate to say it, but, those who don't like this pedal are the same people who want the PEDAL to make them sound like Hendrix (etc) instead of their own sound and creativity. The switches are easy for me, and I like the fact that with Wah and Distortion off it's automatically a volume pedal. One less switch to hit.

This is like asking if you think the Mona Lisa is cute. Great sound depending what you're looking for. Wah: great band-width for me, including the "short-clutch" in the middle. On stage I don't have to move my foot a lot to get the sound. Takes away from the performance. Practice and it'll treat you well. At first we ALL sound like SHAFT. As for the Distortion: If it's the sound you want, it's a 10. If it's not, it's a 1. For me, I use it to "dirty up" the sound, and use my stage amps for the actual distortion.

We're played mostly on MTV and VH1. Influences: Muddy Watters, Eddie Cochran, Chuck Berry, John Lee Hooker, Keith Richards. I have two - in case the other gets lost. I'd like to see a pedal where I can adjust the "clutch" and depth. TIP: Plug your guitar into Wah first (Tone and Drive on full/Level at 1:00), then a Boss Compressor Sustainer (10:00 5:00 10:00 5:00), then amp (I use Fender Ultimate Chorus, then through house-sound) Set amp on dirty channel Gain 1 1/2, Treb 4, Mid off, Bass full, Chorus: Rate off, Depth full. This sound, with this pedal is my sound.
