Very short manual, but if you buy a wah you're supposed to know what you're buyin... other than that... whats the info you need? It uses a 9vadaptor, or a 9vbattery that's all.

Sound Quality : 10
Really good, sounds similar to the bad horsie, but this one can actually sound like a Wah, not a lot of treble, not alot of bass. Well Balanced. It sounds dirty on the clean channel though. But I never tried to get it to sound good... so I'll see when I do it. I could sound better if the distortion was created before the wah on y rig, cause I use only my amps distortion (marshall vs230). My teacher a bad horsie, and he said they sound the same, but mine sounds more like a wah than his. great pedal

Reliability : 10
You can totally depend on it

Bill Wenzloff (the guy who posted just before me)... was really helpful. He replied 2 emails I sent him... and he was really cool. And there's also a 2 year warranty. But I dont think there's any authorized service right here!

Overall Rating : 10
I cant sound like that wah on Electric Funeral, but hey.. thats a really fat wah. And the tycobrahes are unique wahs. I love it, I'll keep for a long time... and you should try it.. dont even read this negative reviews. Try it yourself. I just wish it was switchless. Cause the switch is on the side, it really bothers me. They're cheap and really good! Just take a bad horsie, and this and compare both!

My name is Bill Wenzloff. I work in the Engineering department at Morley. I frequently read the reviews here in an attempt to get a feel for peoples opinions and to help us to continually improve and evolve. Poor sound quality can come from a number of factors. I am here to help people with those problems. I have noticed that whenever anyone writes a negative review, they never leave an email. This does not allow me to contact these people and help them. I guess what I am saying is, if you are unsatisfied with a product (ANY product not just Morley), call the manufacturer and get help first! Then write your review. You'll be glad you did (when you're dealing with Morley that is). I can be reached at 800-284-5172 ext 12

How hard can it be to use a wah? You turn it on and rock it back and forth. I guess the level knob could be confusing if you didn't speak english...

Sound Quality : 10
I play a squier strat through a Boss OD-2R and this wah, then to a Fender SS amp.

I have to admit that it sounds like shit on dirty channel of the amp, but that's normal for a wah, as the distortion is created after the wah. However, with the OD-2R on it sounds amazing, and it has the biggest sweep (especially on the bass strings) than any other wah I've tried (Dunlops, Voxes, Danelectro, etc...). It doesn't really add any extra noise to the signal, and it can sound like a vintage wah (Hendrix-type), or like a modern wah sound (like John Frusciante's wah).

Reliability : 10
I've only had it a couple weeks, but I also tried out some that are easily ten or fifteen years old, and they played perfectly.

Customer Support : No Opinion
Haven't had any problems with it yet

Overall Rating : 10
It's perfect for funk and rock, and for blues it sounds great. It has a better sweep and is cheaper than any other wah I've tried (and I've tried all the dunlops, a vox, and the danelectro one), and was also a lot cheaper.

It sounds wonderful with a distortion/overdrive pedal in front of it (like my Boss OD-2R), and it's sweet on the clean channel too. I'm very happy with it, and I would certainly buy it again.

Good Pedal. That is all i whant to say.Just turn it on and get better sound.Very easy

Sound Quality : 9
Marshall AMP --- Marshall GV2 --- MORLEY --- Epiphone Special Model Les Paul.It sounds very good.I think 90% of people who set "1" to "5" as a mark did wrong cofiguration. When sound is clean it gives distorution but you can just turn it off when you dont like it or play clean path.My opinion is Very GOOD sound, for a heavy metal it is really good

Reliability : 10
A brick,nothing more.Just like Marshall GV2.UNBREKABLE

All ok.

Easy - just turn it on, set the level and away you go.
Manual doesn't include much info on how to get the most out of it, so it is hit and miss...

Sound Quality : 3
... which so far I have been unable to get a decent sound from it!
I just bought an Ibanez JS100 today as well as this pedal because it was recommended by the music shop. Worst mistake of my life. It sounds NOTHING like the wah in the Joe Satriani song "Love Thing" - not even close. I told the shop owner that I had #90-#100 to spend on a Wah pedal - and I was after a nice sounding, expressionate one.
My setup is an Ibanez JS100, Marshall VS20AVT, Korg AX1000 multi effects board.

Reliability : 10
It's built like a brick - will last!

Customer Support : No Opinion
Dunno - never used them

Overall Rating : 2
I would NOT advise anyone to buy this pedal - infact, come Saturday, it is going back.

It's a wah pedal, so just switch it on and move your foot up and down. There is nothing to it. With a level knob you can control the effect level.

Sound Quality : 5
The sound quality is bad. I used it with my Carvin MTS3210 combo and a Charvel 475 Lefty. It hardly makes a "wah" sound! I wonder why I bought this thing. I tried to make some Voodoo Chile-sounds and some early Clapton/Cream sounds with it, but that doesn't seem possible.

Reliability : 9
This thing is built heavily and firmly. No risk of breaking it, not even when abused a lot.

Customer Support : No Opinion
I haven't had any problems, so I can't tell...

Overall Rating : 7
Like some 99% of all guitar players my main styles are rock, blues and pop. Think Van Halen, Eric Clapton, Pink Floyd, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Gary Moore and a little Satriani. I've been playing for 12 years now. Besides the Morley I use a Boss DD5 delay, a Boss CE5 chorus, a Boss BF2 flanger, a Boss BD2 overdrive and a Boss GE7 equalizer. My guitar is a lefthanded Charvel 475, my amp a Carvin MTS3210 combo. The Morley doesn't do the job. It lacks the deep, sharp wah sound you can get from a Cry Baby or Vox. So if it got stolen, I wouldn't buy another Morley. I think I'd go for something else.

Easy to operate, who knows what the 'level' control is for. Very nice on/off knob and LED indicator.

Sound Quality : 4
At some settings, very nice, but not a very 'vocal'-sounding wah. Works great on a clean setting, but not too good with distortion, and horrible with low notes. Anything on the two bottom strings suck. Needs more of bass-y sound at the nadir of the pedal. A Crybaby pushed to the front sounds like this Morely pushed to the absolute middle. A crazy, sustaining, harmonic tone can be found when the wah is pushed almost the whole way back. The wah will also make it quite easy to get feedback.

Reliability : 7
This wah is great for a few things, not so great for Tom Morello/Tony Rombola sounds. I suggest this pedal along with a Vox or Crybaby. However, doesn't drain batteries fast at all.

Customer Support : No Opinion
Never needed them.

Overall Rating : 5
Good on a clean setting, but not a good idea to play punk or hard rock on this. Works best on the B and high E-strings, not anywhere past the 11th or twelfth fret. A decent pedal for jazz or clean/lightly distorted blues, though.

not too difficult. you press the button and move the pedal with your foot.

Sound Quality : 3
Who cares about what setup I have? This pedal is a big piece of shit. Man, was I ever stooped into buying this. It was in my more inexperienced guitar shopping days. It was a wah pedal, it sounded really cool (because it was the first one I tried out). The sound that comes out of this is very weak. It's not even really a wah. It goes wah, but it doesn't. It sounds more like the noise a flanger makes.

Reliability : 8
It's reliable. Too bad it doesn't sound good.

It's a shitty position to place a switch for a wah. Going into solos I occasionally almost break my ankle trying to switch to wah...
What function does the level knob have? I've turned it hundred times around, but the sound hardly changes, maybe thats because I play in combination with the Zoom 505...

Sound Quality : 7
My setup is: Fender Strat into a ZOOM 505 into the Morley into a Marshall 8040 Valvestate 40V. With some effects on the Zoom, you hardly hear the wah, with other effects there's too much wah. (Switching the setup changes, but that takes too much time on stage).
As a volume-pedal it's too sensitive, as a clean pedal(volume at the top) it's nice, as a wah with a clean effect on my 505 it sucks 'cause the wah brings distortion with it.
It has a great range, larger than a Vox or Dunlop.

Reliability : 8
It's reliable, but I wouldn't go on stage without a distortion pedal (but that's just a taste of style, I don't like solos without distortion).

Customer Support : No Opinion
Haven't had to deal with them.

Overall Rating : 8
I've been playing for 5 years now, this is my first wah, it's pretty good although I don't use it very often. I love the range, I hate the freaking knob, I like the design; it looks solid and stable. I wish it would have had a fuzz or distortion mode, but then I should have bought another one, I know.
