pop a battery in, plug the cords in, stomp on the switch and move it back and forth... how many time's this been said now?

Sound Quality : 10
only wah ive used but i can get a good sound out of it. sounds good clean or distorted for the most part... i have a zoom 505ii and with some of the distortion effects (especially the stock A4 i believe ti is) there was barely any wah effect but with the settings for the "stoner-rock" i play it does the trick. gets a 10 cuz i dont know no better :)

Reliability : 10
like everyone else said, the thing's built like a tank. just got beer spilled on it the other night at a gig and still works fine.

Customer Support : No Opinion
haven't dealt with them

I play "stoner-rock" as I mentioned earlier. Kind of a cross between grunge and 311 and any given indie rock band. I haven't even been playing a year. I use a Washburn wg208 guitar into the wah which runs into a DOD classic tube distortion pedal into my zoom 505 into a marshall 10w practice amp. The wah works great for what I play. The only thing I hate about it is it looks like a gas pedal for a school bus. I don't know if I'd replace it if it was stolen as I'd like to try out other wahs to see whats out there. I picked this one because I wanted to try out a wah and it was either pay $40 for this or over $100 for a crybaby. My only wish would be that it wasn't so damn large.

press the "on" button, then go for gold. also, changing the battery6 is easy too, no screws, just a slider, very handy for mid gig situations.

Sound Quality : 9
i am running this through a samick 4 stringer w/jackson pickups, it is plugged into a Jade amp: distortion => wah => flange, and that seems to work well. it will take a while to get your bass/guitar, amp, and pedal settings right to get the sound you want, but once you have yourself worked out, should be fine.

Reliability : 10
made of steel, literally, i couldnt kill it if i wanted to. in fact, it has been abused by my more wild gigs, and it hasnt screwed up yet.

Customer Support : 10
i bought it used, and one of the rubber "feet" on the bottom was missing, so i contacted them and got a set of them free.

Overall Rating : 9
i play everything from funk to heavy metal, and this is great for both. its absolutely perfect for that cliff burton "anesthesia" bass solo. the only thing that is on smaller amps, it overamplifys and can cause the amp to distort, but its really for gigs only, so who cares?
all in all, a great wah.

Simple to use. Has one "level" knob to control the level of the wah, and a button to turn it on. Then you rock back and forth on the pedal. The pedal moves more freely than I would like, but that is fine.

Sound Quality : 8
I am using an Explorer through an Ibanez TubeScreamer => Morley PWA Wah => Ibanez DE-7 Delay/Echo => Ibanez CF-7 Chorus to a Kustom K25-2. I also run it through a Fender Twin Reverb as well. It sounds very clean and works well with the distortion in front. However there is an annoying high end sound if you go to far. Great sound for the price, but I think it should have a wider sweep and less of a high end. Also will drain the tone when switched off. Still has a very solid sound.

Reliability : 10
A tank could run over this and it would still ask for more. Made of steel.

Customer Support : No Opinion
Haven't dealt with them yet.

This is an excellent wah for the price. It is reliable and I would gig without a backup. It could use some minor changes with the tone sucking problem, but usually if you have a wah in your chain, you are going to use it. Better sounding on the clean channels. If it was stolen or lost, I would probably get a new one or go with the Pro Series II from Morley. Great Value!

Ease of Use : 8
simple to use, but requires that you plan ahead when playing with a band---you have to switch it on first. not as smoothly transitioning as crybaby style where you stomp hard to activate.

Sound Quality : 1
horrible, horrible. clean wah just disappears at the end of the sweep. terrible. too swishy, not even close to a wah. you can't rock the pedal gently to get the "talking guitar" effect. CRAP!!!!

Reliability : 10
sure, it's thick metal.

Overall Rating : 3
Terrible pedal. this is NOT a wah, so don't fool yourself. very crappy indeed

this is easier to use then a dunlop crybaby, u cant accidently "rock" it on, the switch is on the side , it also has a level nob on the other side (effects how much of the wah is blended in with the sound. great easy to use simple little (actually its big for a wah, but not too big) pedal.no patches, got it used, so no manuel, dont need one anyways. u can "upgrade this pedal if u do not like the "sweep" unlike most other pedals because morley uses optical lasers instead of pots. all u do to upgrade it is take off the bottom plate and move the red light inside up or down, changes the "Sweep".

Sound Quality : 9
im using an ibanez rg270 to a boss hm-2 heavy metal to this pedal to a peavey bandit, when u get the level too high it seems to get a little bit distorted sounding in a bad way, but as long as ur level on it isnt all the way up then u should be fine. this pedal is liek most wahs, it soudns great with ur tone on ur guitar all the way up, because if its all the way down u wont hear much of a change from high to low, but if u know what ur doin with all ur eq settings then im sure u will know what to do, but it isnt weak like some other people said, u can easily get all those great wah tones, if the stock "sweep" isnt it then go ahead and modify the optical laser till u fine what u like, or mess with ur eq's that realy helps.i give this pedal another 9 because its so versitile

Reliability : 7
it seems really dependable, except i have had to throw it once because it wouldnt work, but when i hooked it up after i threw it the thing was workin perfect(but thats probably only cuz its more then 12 years old. its a morley, and it doesnt have pots that can make the sound all scratchy , every other wah i have seen uses pots, but this uses optical lasers, but i would bring a backup if i were gigging with it, cuz u never know what might happen ya know

Customer Support : No Opinion
dunno, used, at least 12 years old, doubt i could get any support

Overall Rating : 8
i play for a metal band from north cali, just a bunch of 15- 17 year olds(i am 16, been playing for 7 years though), but when i am not playing with them i also play blues, light rock, psychedelic, thrash, punk, and some shit that doesnt have a category just wierd stuff, this pedal works for it all, and on a completely clean sound without and other effects u can make austrailian sounding music lol.if it were stolen or lost i would definitley get it again, its the best pedal ive used.i love that this pedal has the on/off switch on the side instead of under the toe part, so it isnt accidently rocked off or on or whatever.compared to any other wah, this one kicks all their asses, this one has the best overall features, and ur not stuck with just one "sweep" setting, in a way its like a multi-effect wah, with more then one wah sound. it is perfect for the music i make (wich is mostly all my own stuff)...please contact me if have any questions or know somethin i didnt mention about it or u have equipment u would liek to sell or trade or what not.

On/off button, volume control, just rock it back and forth

Fender MIM Strat into Wah into Peavy Bandit 112. When the tone settings are low on my guitar (around 1-3) the wah effect is muffled, boost the tone and it sounds great on a clean channel. Sounds good with distortion also, but it isn't as pronounced. Very clean and smooth transitions when using the wah. Can get an ok SRV sound out of it.

Reliability : 9
Seems to be rugged. I would use without a backup. No worries here.

Overall Rating : 8
I play any style of music, but mainly rock/metal. It's my first and only wah, and works good for what i need it for (home practice and the ocassional gig). I would probably buy it again if it was lost. Its very straight foreward and simple. I wish it had more sound modification tools, The best feature is the fact there's no pot to get scratchy like the CryBaby i tried out in the store! Good pedal for the money.

Not easy to use. It sounds best through a 3 single coil strat using the neck pickup. Tried regee and Hendrix stuff. It comes close. I think I just don't know how to use it. I have had this pedal for 4 years and havn't used it much. I guess I should try reading the instructions.

Sound Quality : 5
Horrible if used on clean settings. Ok with distortion, but it seems to dislike high output humbuckers. I realy doesn't like my Seymor Duncan Ivader. Kirk Hammett and SRV inspired me to buy one. I have yet to cop their sound. I think they use Cry Baby wah's or VOX. Chorus sounds good. I can get a 311 type of tone. Like I said before, I need to learn to use it.

Reliability : 1
Very dependable. My kids like to play around with it while I play. I let them rock it back and forth so if by some chance to help me figure it out.

Customer Support : No Opinion
I don't know.

Overall Rating : 5
I play everything as far as 80's Metal as well as early to mid 90's grunge and punk and then on to old school punk, ska, 70's rock to KoRn and beyond. I have been playing for 19 years. I have had alot of equipment, but never a wah pedal. I never wanted or needed one until I started playing alot of leads. I have always been a rhythem player and some lead work. Now I can't get away from leads and a wah is esential. After reading these reviews I think I have a better idea about how to use it and will try as soon as I hit the submit tab on this review.

Lemme start by saying this... Guitar Center is great, but not to my dad! God, this is the second time they ripped him off. My dad got an amp for $600, when he could have got it for about $300. And now this wah. They sold it to him for over $100, but now they sell it for $40. OH well, both were worth it. This is easy to get a sound, just rock back and forth. It takes skill for a really nice wah effect though. The manual is good, but you should figure it out by looking at it. I upgraded my unit to make a bigger range. So now it is even better than before.

Sound Quality : 8
I use a Gretsch New jet guitar with a PAF in the neck and a Tone Zone in the bridge. It is plugged into this, and then a Metal Zone(MT-2) Boss distrotion, and then my amp(Fender Super 112). I really like this kind of setup, and with my Shure wireless unit, I just run around and have fun. This is really kool for solos and Incubus type sounds. Only noisy when the toe is down and distortion is high. You can get Clapton, Hendrix, all the greats.

Reliability : 10
Let's see.... I'm gonna drop it outta my window(I live on the second story) of my house and plug it in. Back, yeah it works. It only got a few paint chips, and the input thing is a little loose. Oh well. Oh by the way, the input and output jacks are tight so your cables don't slip out if you step on them, so don't complain about that. This is sturdy steel, and I always use it on gigs.

Customer Support : 10
Nice customer support. I wanted a bigger range, and they told me how to do it. Ask for Bill.

Overall Rating : 10
Bottom Line: This pedal kicks ass. I love a wah that has the switch on the side, so you don't accidently turn it on or off. I've been playing for almost two years, and this is the perfect match of the music I play. I am gonna make music with this, and if it were stolen, i'd be pissed.
