Ease of Use : 8
It is almost as simple as a wah pedal can be. On/Off switch and a level control (controls output and sweep.)

Sound Quality : 5
I use this with a Fender American standard Strat into either a Marshall JTM 30 or a Marshall JMP 50. It works better with the JTM 30, although the sound quality is still not great. It can be slightly noisy when the effect is on but it is acceptable. The main problem I find is that it has quite a narrow sweep even with the level control turned up full. It works O.K. with a clean sound but with distortion it does not manage to have as much affect over the sound as, for example, a cry baby (which is what I now use).

Reliability : 8
It is very well built and would be difficult to damage. the optical circuitry means there is no pot to wear out. The only problem I found was that the footswitch became faulty due to a build up of dirt. I think I have cured this with contact cleaner.

Customer Support : No Opinion
I have never dealt with Morley.

Overall Rating : 6
This wah works O.K. and is reliable enough for using live and giving acceptable wah sounds. However, it uses batteries quite quickly and, in my opinion does not sound anything like as good a cry baby.

Ease of Use : 9
This wah is easy to use, i bought it because i liked the seperate on switch as opposed to having to "rock" it on. I wish it had more control for the depth of the wah, but it was cheap.

Sound Quality : 3
I use two fender telecasters both loaded with duncan humbuckers in both positions one with a jb in the bridge and a 59 in the neck and the other with a hot rail in the bridge and a jazz in the neck, both can be tapped to get all possible combinations. i play through an ampeg ss150 head a marshall 1960 cab, and a home built cab with celestions in it, as well as a peavey duece combo and a bandit. this thing makes tons of noise, mine may be defective, but when ever i lose volume before it in my chain: ie: turn down guitar volume or volume pedal, it makes a terrible racket on or off, the noise stops when it is turned on and off again. It totally cuts the tone right out of my rig when its on. It may be deffective, but i know it sucks.

Reliability : 1
This thing cuts out and is completely unreliable it was replaced after the input fell out during a gig. Its good as a door stop

Customer Support : 1
I never got a response. who cares i won't buy one again anyway.

Overall Rating : 3
This thing had promise if i had the time or patience to mod it and or to fix it i would, however i found it much more painless to go back to a vox wah.

They don't come any simpler

Sound Quality : 3
Very weak, Sounds close to Kirk Hammit's custom wah. Noticed alot of distortion when used in effects chain. I used it with a custon "EVH Frankenstein" a Boss BF-2, a Boss DS-1, MXR phaser, Boss CE-2 run into a Peavey 5150 combo. Seemed to work well with clean chorus but very poor with the distortion.

Reliability : 10
Built very strong, no cutting out problems

Customer Support : 1
Called 3 times, No reply. Customer service? I don't think they have ever heard of it!

Overall Rating : 7
Overall an O.K. pedal, I find it to be very uncomfortable to play(runs parallel to the ground) I have been playing for about 12 years now and overall I think this would be a great pedal to start with, but after a while you'll be wanting more. An excellnt price, very affordable.

Very Simple. You have the LEVEL knob, On/Off button, And the expression Pedal. You just Have to play around with the LEVEL to find the right mix.

Sound Quality : 9
Ibanez Flying V - Morley ABY Switch - Morley PWA Pro Wah - Tech 21 SansAmp GT2 - PA System. Sounds great when you Turn up the Level all the way playing with distortion. When using it for Clean sounds it sounds best when the level is turned down a bit. I like using it mostly for Porno music and it kick ass

Reliability : 10
It's mostly made out of metal, and I have dropped it a few times and it still works!

Customer Support : No Opinion

Overall Rating : 9
This is a perfect pedal for me, it sounds great for porno music aswell as lead and Guitar solos. My only complain is that the On/Off switch is on the side of the pedal and not under the expression pedal like the Cry Baby Wahs.

Ease of Use : 7
The pedal itself has a nice big sweep, so it's really easy to control. There's one knob to control the amount of effect. The only down is the switch on the side, so it's inconvenient to turn on and off in the middle of a solo.

Sound Quality : 10
I originall played it through
Wah >> DOD Grunge >> Peavey Classic 210
Let me tell you, it's like you have no Wah pedal at all. After I sold the whole setup and bought a Randall RG200, it sounds great. It's a smooth wah, and it doesn't bite or pierce and hurt your hears, and the control is superb. Basically, this wah HATES the DOD grunge and other extreme fuzz pedals. It sounds awesome with natural amp distortion or clean.

Reliability : 10
I use it as a doorstop so the cat can get out of my room. I step on it all the time just trying to maneuver through my messy room. Oh wait, it's a pedal, so it's meant to be stepped on. Rugged metal construction. The optical sensor means there's no pot to go out on you. I'd use it without backup.

Customer Support : No Opinion

Overall Rating : 9
I play metal and hard rock. The big sweep means you can really go nuts on it and not lose control. The only thing I would change is the location of that switch, and the look. This big green thing is butt-ugly. The VOX and Crybaby pedals are much prettier.

Morley don't need no introductions, or manuals, or guidelines. Plug it in, step on it, go......

Sound Quality : 10
Basic Wah effect. I've read a lot of reviews on this site on the "Light Optics Vs Pot" debate. Personally, I don't really care what allegedley sounds better, just like the "valve vs diode" for amps ( I personally prefer all valve, but own a hybrid coz it suits those darker tones). Jim Martin uses a Morley, 'nuff said. No really, the best thing about this is the Level setting, allowing you to control the sweep the Wah effect has. Go from Oasis at minimal settings to all out Steve Vai at full tilt. No noise in Bypass mode (one of the few manufacturers that actually live up to the true bypas monicker)

Reliability : 10
This pedal is like the proverbial brick shithouse. If you own a Morley, you'll know backups are a dirty word..

Customer Support : No Opinion
Never phoned, e-mailed or written to them. Never felt the urge to.

Overall Rating : 10
I go for all sorts - Britpop, Metal, Grunge, Indie (check out my listing for the Laney GH50L amp head, you'll get the gist). As an effect Wah is indispensible. So there.

It kind of sucks that the turn on button is on the side. That's a pain, but it has a level control!

Sound Quality : 5
My chain is ibanez rg320>>dod grunge>> boss ds-1>> morley wah>> fender princeton 112 plus. Morley sucks. that's it, if i put it before the distortion it has no effect. ONly dunlop and vox are good, even that fulltone sh*t is bad. The only good thing about this pedal is the level control that's it. When i put it after the distortion, it still sucks. It goes from no volume to a sh*t load of volume. and screaming highs with NO lows.

Reliability : 10
very sturdy, definatley reliable, never ever gonna use it for a gig don't want to sound like sh*t.

Customer Support : No Opinion
never tried, probably some mailing bulls*it.

Overall Rating : 3
This is good for no music. It sucks plain and simple, dont get it.
Please get a dunlop I love that sound it gets, soooo cool.

Very easy to use. No manual with mine (secondhand), I haven't had any trouble with the switch or the action of the wah, it is all smooth and nice. I almost got the sound I was after, but for me this is an intermediate wah, to be used until I can afford a RMC-3 or something I can tweak. For now though I am happy.

Sound Quality : 9
Custom fretless bass -> MXR Blue Box -> Big Muff Pi -> Cheap Chorus -> Morley PWA Wah -> Trace Elliot AH250 head -> Custom 2x12 200w cab.
I am very impressed with the bottom end of this pedal. Most wahs cut the bottom end and they sound "quacky" for bass, for example most crybaby/hendrix wahs. This wah is silky smooth, the main reason for me buying it was the optical action. The sound quality is great with just the right sweep, although there is a slight lack of treble at the top which could be fixed by moving the LED inside the thing to allow more light through. I tried this and it made a slight difference. This wah has a unique type of growl to it as well, and it really brings out the fretless sound. As I have shown, I use the wah after all other effects, using either distortion produces a more synthy sound, with really pronounced vowelling, quite nice, and I thought the chorus would be better after the wah but it isn't. This wah does have a modern sound but then again I don't think I would want to sound livke everyone else, and its not as if someone is going to come up to me during/after a gig and tell me my wah sucks.
I would definitely recommend this for bass. I take one mark off because it doesn't quite have a super bite to it, but as I said, this is a stepping stone for me.

Reliability : 10
I always gig without backups and I doubt this pedal would ever fail me.

Customer Support : No Opinion

Overall Rating : 9
I play a lot of different styles, from heavy to mellow and this wah would certainly be able to find a place in all styles. I don't necessarily "rock the thing and go quackety-quack", I prefer nice slow sweeps sometimes, especially with the big muff going. Oh, the Blue Box sounds absolutely awesome though this too, very spacey.

The on switch isn't under the pedal like on the crybaby and this can make it difficult to engage when singing and playing. Apart from that it's easy. The level knob is very useful and the pedal is very sensitive.

Sound Quality : 8
I love the sound i get from this wah, it's very warm and has a good range. The very high frequencies can be quite ear piercing so be careful!
My setup: SG > Morley Wah > Dod Flanger > Boss Chorus > Valvestate 100R Amp

Reliability : 9
It's worked fine for a 2 years.... i don't use a backup due to financial restrictions! But I've never felt the need for one either

Customer Support : No Opinion
Never used them

Overall Rating : 7
This is great for the style of music i play.... UK indie/alternative/rock n' roll. If you can use a wah without the on/ off switch under the pedal, then this is a very good alternative the crybaby
