Marshall TSL100 4x12cab. Let's remember it is the entry-level of the Morley range.. and for the price I paid (uk#40) it was well worth the money. No switch to enable the effect so that's one less pedal you have to include when you are doing your River-Dance impression across the stage. As you lean your foot forward it triggers the effect.. it is sprung so when you let go it returns back. This makes it a bit useless for holding a tone in one particular place but I really don't mind sitting my foot on it a bit when I'm "fret-masturbating". As a cheap wah pedal for occasional use I think it's worth it. No point in buying a Bad Horsie when you only use it every now and then. No coloration of the tone from what I can hear, and proves to be quite noisless.. does invoke a slight increase in volume which overdrives my amp slightly when I use it clean.. I quite like it, gives a nice accent to the voice. Not the deepest sweep I've heard in a wah but again as a budget pedal it is really quite okay.

Well.. it does get a bit pissed off if you put some weight on the pedal.. tends to cut out the effect.. but then I treat my gear with respect so this really isn't a problem for me. Personally, if it broke down at a gig I wouldn't miss it that much.. hence why I bought a cheap pedal. It has a good sturdy steel case with a steel pedal and a good grip surface on top. Much better than the JHS one I used previously.

Never had to deal with them yet, but I have heard good things. They have plenty of contact details on their website, and appear to be a close-knit company. In my experience this type of company usually offers much superior support to their customers.

Not sure how much these retail for, but I probably wouldn't buy one if it cost much more than I paid for it. I think it is a good pedal if you can pick one up cheap. Also good for newbies or if you are just starting to get into effects. However, if you use wah alot in your music and need something you can rely on.. you should really consider something more sturdy than this.. the higher spec Morley pedals have many more stability features.
For me this pedal is fine, I am satisfied with it.

Very easy to use no buttons,no switches. Just step on it and go! The spring, however would not let the player hold the wah on a specific place because the sping would pull the pedal back and switch it of. If you want to have a sound with more midrange and treble for solos, you will need to step on the pedal to keep it on a specific position.

The sound is fair for an entry level wah, less bass on the tone.

Ridiculously easy! No knobs, no buttons. It just Wahs, and how! How easy is it to get a good sound out of it? Pretty bloody difficult especially since I sold it quick smart; but please see other reviews below.

When I had it, I was using a Fernandes thinline tele copy through a Peavey Classic 50 212 (very nice tones). No other effects (not really into effects), just guitar, amp and go. Liked to play clean to slightly distorted blues/rock/jazz/instrumental stuff. I really like rich, fat clean tones, so I think I gave it fair evaluation based on my tastes (if it don't sound good clean, when will it!?).
Well, as for sound, I think I must have got the bad apple compared to these other very generous reviewers. I've simply not heard another wah sound this bad, either live or recorded. It had this horrible, digital-sounding dribble (They should have called it the Morely Dribbling Yawn) sound which opened up as you pressed down. The sweep was very limited and it was simply impossible to get the classic cyclic quack happening or any other type of expression. Jimi would have choked earlier had he used this one and forget Voodoo Chile sounds). It badly muddied the guitar/amp's clean tone (esp. trebles and mashed bass)and was simply uninspiring in every way. I was nearly turned off Wahs for good after this experience but since then I got a Vox reissue wah which sounds brilliant, rich and transparent by comparison (only need to convert to true bi-pass to have the wah pedal that I will never sell). The Morely was noisey as well but I can't remember the nature of it now. Just could not recommend it to anyone of any level or playing style. Sorry Morely, but Uggh! Hope their newer models are better; I doubt they could be worse, and it gets worse! see below... (By the way, I sold it for more than I paid so I'm not bitter and twisted about the pedal or Morely, just a very unsatisfying pedal).

Well, just when you think it can't get worse, think again! The very cheap, thin coil (acting as the spring) cracked within days of puchase and rendered it useless (well, more useless). It was then I relised how cheap the components were. Also, you get cheap (sorry for repitetion) rubber feet you stick! onto the bottom of the pedal as well as the stomper. Needless to say, these moved out of position quickly with little use and resulted in the bending and slight twisting of the pieces of guide metal. I hadn't even played more than few hours with it; I don't know how this design could possibly last under gigging duties. I take very good care of my gear so none of the breakages could be blamed on roughness.

I took the new but broken pedal back to the shop to get fixed and after about a week I got it back and all they had done was put a rivet or two into the broken spring coil, so that now the coil was slightly smaller (due to overlapping broken ends) and not the same shape in the resting position. I adverised it for sale shortly after, being certain that this flimsy repair was unlikely to hold better than the new, intact coil. I can't give it more than 1 here; it just was a cheaply put together toy prone to breakage.

I got this pedal new at a clearance sale and ended up selling it for more than I paid, which was the only pleasant experience I had with this thing. If it were stolen I would've missed out on making a little extra money on the deal but the thief would have been really disappointed so there's your justice (actually, I wouldn't have been unhappy if stolen despite losing $70; it bothered me to have it). Played for 12 years; rarely use effects and even then they must not squash my tone, this obliterated it. I'm giving it '1' based purely on sound quality as I would have happily persisted with a wounded wah which was sonically satisfying. They reliabily was just the icing on the cake. I honestly can't give more than '1' despite trying really hard to imagine that someone else could get some value out it; no recommedation at all. Really, don't buy this one; get a Vox or a dunlop etc.; anything but this. Keep rocking you bastards!

I've been using it in various setups with pretty consistent results. Noise? it's a WAH pedal, it's SUPPOSED to make NOISE! Sheesh... The transition from bypass to wah is quite smooth which is nice. The wah sound is fairly subdued, nothing drastic really (unless you want it to be)and since it's switchless you can kick in a little wherever you want. If it's an overblown, obnoxious wah you're looking for this one probably isn't for you. However, it is exactly what I was looking for, and for that purpose it sounds superb.

Well, it's all metal, heh. I think Morely pedals are pretty good with batteries, but I'll probably end up putting it on an adapter sooner or later. The only thing I'd ever worry about wearing out on this unit is the spring but even that seems pretty sturdy. Morely wahs, can't bust 'em, heh.

I love it. A switchless wah, what a concept, heh. I haven't had it long but I can already see that it will most likely become a cornerstone of my sound simply because it's such an easy way to add extra character to your playing. The design is sturdy enough that you can rest your foot on it comfortably without worrying about breaking it, and whenever you feel the need for a little tweak of the pedal, have at it. Definitly adds to the sense of 'oneness' with your instrument unlike wahs that require an ill-natured stomp to spur into action. If it were lost or stolen I would most definitly buy another of Morely's switchless wahs (there's a few to choose from). Quallity item and an excellent way to expand your sound.

Well, it's a wah without any switches, buttons, dials, or even an on/off switch. Just plug in and step on it.

The sound is interesting, it's a seperate sound from the traditional crybaby feel, but that's what Morley's known for right? I noticed that when I recorded with it, it gave a really squeaky sound that I personally loved, sounded EXACTLY like Page's Communication Breakdown solo on the White Summer bootleg. For the classic rocker, it's a great pedal.

I've used it at many gigs without backups, it's made of metal and plastic, so it's pretty sturdy. Plus the inputs hold the 1/4" jacks VERY sturdy.
