Manual is a help to give hints how to use it.

It can be used as Phaser,as frequency shaper or simply as
Filterbank or an eleven band distortion.
Also it can be used as slicer or whatever.
Very flexible in usage.
Let your guitar talk.No problem.It has a build in Limiter and Noise
gate.Fine.

Really easy,for each function one knob.
Manual is only needed to get a survey how this machine works.
After that,it is really a tool of fun and exploring.
No patches,this is a realtime machine.
It is totally analog.

What has a Vovocoder to do with guitar ? If we follow the old
prejudice,that a Vocoder only produces Robotvoices,then we have
run into the trap.
A vocoder is also a Filterbank.And each band will react individual to
the input signal.
A Vocoder can be used also for amazing phasing,individual Filtering,
and so and on.Also it can be just a very sharp EQ.
The MAM VF11 is totally analog and eleven bands.For voices this bands
may not be enough nowadays,but for guitar this selected Filteringspots
are amazing.
For radical phasing effects,the VF11 is great.Emulate a TalkBox or
just choose it as Filter.
The VF11 has a build in Limiter.Noise is very low,eventhough analog.
A real cool effect device,wich can be used in several ways.
Warm and analog Sound.Fits well to guitar.

A Vocoder like this,has never found its way to guitar effects.
What a shame.Most people think about Vocoders like Robotvoices.
That is not true.A Vocoder can much more.
The name Vocoder is maybe wrong.Better call is a Filterbank with
eleven(or more) Filterbands and VCAs.
The VF11 is flexible in routing.Can support "normal" Vocodering,but can also be a Hot Spot in Filtering.
For guitar usage the MAM VF11 is amazing and a wonderful tool and it is totally analog.
