Highly simple to use. This is a clone of the Big Muff Pi. Level, Sustain, and Tone knobs, and each of them do what you expect. Level controls the volume of the fuzz, sustain controls the sustain/gain, and tone can help you take some of the low end out of the fuzz if it's not cutting through for you.

I love this pedal. Very accurate clone of the Big Muff Pi, but I actually like it better because it's smaller, sturdier, and has a better switch on it. To me, it also just sounds like it's bigger somehow. Yeah, it's a big more than the EHX models, but you aren't getting a subpar product by any means. This is going to stay on my pedal board for a very long time.
You can easily dial in the sounds of Smashing Pumpkins or Dinosaur Jr. or some of that old shoegaze stuff. I'm using it through my Traynor 410 and it's the best sounding distortion I've put through it. It can be a bit noisy on higher volume levels, but what distortion pedal isn't? I've certainly played through noisier pedals that make this one quiet by comparison.

Built like a tank. This bad boy is not going to break unless you steamroller it.

This is the pedal I've been looking for for a long, long, time. I would be super POed if somebody horked this from my pedal board and would order a new one ASAP. It is nice and open-ended sounding with rich sustain. And even though it's a "muff" it isn't the least bit muffled sounding, which is a common problem with Marshall distortions, in my opinion. It's simple, analog, true bypass, and handmade. Plus, as a big fuzz pedal, it is good at hiding my sloppy playing!
