Easy to get good sounds from this. Four controls, Depth, Speed, Mix and Tone. Plenty of options available from these controls.

The sounds are excellent fresh from the box. Personally I like to keep the speed low (not keen on "marine warble" effects) and alter the depth, tone and mix to get a wide variety of sounds. Much better variety than available from my Boss or Electro Harmonix chrosu pedal and at least as good quality. Very quiet aswell (Not all Pearl pedals are - my compressor generates hiss)

Solid unit, to the same design as oother Pearl pedals. No reason to think this wont be just as reliable

This pedal produces a beautiful lush, thick tone.
I have owned 2. Sold the first when I need some cash and bought another some 15 years later. The first I used with a K-Yari acoustic played directly into a PA. Running exclusively on battery power it produced almost no noise.
My current CH-O2 is powered by a powerbank and chained with 6 other pedals and it is even quieter than the first. I play a couple of fender strats through it and I love it.
It ranges from subtle chorus effects through to the full leslie speaker type thing.
I bought this when it was unpopular and all my friends where buying boss gear... glad I did'nt because it is an absolute cracker.

Never had either of these fail on me. I don't gig these days and probably wouldn't bother with a backup if I did.

I have been playing for about thirty years. I play blues, rock a bit of funk a bit of everthing really. If it was stolen I would get another... I can't believe you can get these on ebay for about $50 Australian, they are worth far more than that! If you find one give it a try I don't think you will be disappointed

I use an american standard start through a fifties champ, most of the time I record effects one at at a time thorugh the amp. It sounds thick and really and your able to mix just the right amount of chorus
into your mix due to the mix/balance knob. A high aulity feature for a pedal like this. This covers all the chorus signature sounds , including vibrato and leslie speaker type sounds.

I have been playing guitar and bass for about 16 years. I have always used affects in combination or alone trying to create texture in the sound. I would try and get another one if I lost ita although they
are hard to find. Most pedals dont sound as good or sound as clean. This makes guitars sparkle and Bass sound sweet. I use it even to add sweetening to vocals!
