Ease of Use : 8
Pearl pedals all shared the same housing with four controls. In this case Depth Rate Feedback and Modulation. Every knob responds with a usable diffrent sound. so even if you don't understand this pedal you will find many good sounds easely.

Sound Quality : 9
This is an quiet Phaser. you only hear a small amount of phasing "Whoosh" with extreme settings. It is quieter than a lot of other pedals. The sound is flattering for almost any setup in any setting.

Reliability : 7
Never had any defects and I use it for years now. This is a Big all metal box, witch can backup as a device to destroy medium size tanks. I have a few Boss pedals but this one is much tougher. (and incredible heavy for this sake) One gadget of the Pearl pedals is that the LED indicater starts flashing some five minutes BEFORE the battery dies on you..... Why oh why isn't this a standard feature on other manufacturers effects?

Customer Support : 3
never dealt with them but they are out of the amp/effects-business for some time now so I think it can get tricky.

Overall Rating : 10
I've GOT a original MXR phase 90, a Yamaha and an Ibanez nine-series Phaser but this one is the best! Lush or funky, Pshychedelic or subtile? this one has it. And the best par is that it isn't collectible. I see these advertised for $40 while it outperforms the classics. Pearl for a short while made some brilliant pedals and some absolute stinkers. This one deserves to be in the same cetegory as the TS9 and big muff. (stay away from the Pearl flanger and chorus)
