Ease of Use : 8
I am not sure of the year, but I truly think everyone should have one of these guitars in there studio, or on stage with them. It is a beautifully done Strat clone, 22-frets, maple neck with a rosewood fingerboard, and I would say, a nice piece of rosewood, and also very affordable.
Schaller tuners, and a Kahler Spyder locking trem. The Peavey Falcon has three single-coil active pickups, a single volume and tone control, and a five-position switch. Like all the Peavey Falcons, it was constructed in Meridian, Mississippi, USA. Which most of us know is the birth place of Peavey. I gave the guitar a rating of 8 for the simple reason it is a clone of a Fender Strat, which is cool with me, since I own a few Fender Strats. One last comment it has a 5-way-toggle switch, also 3-single coil p/ups and volume and tone know,(which i really like) and honestly easier to adjust tone and a lot quicker. Now that is my take, some will disagree, and some will agree with that comment. But in the long run, like I said in the beginning a very interesting strat clone.

Sound Quality : 9
Now here is where it gets very tricky. For some reason the electronic works very well with Peavey Gear. Now let me explain this, or say it like this. I don't know much about the new Peavey Gear, I am using this Peavey Falcon with a old Vintage Peavey Amps. Yes I have a lot of Gear, high dollar amps, which are vintage and boutique amps, but for a reason I really can't explain except for the fact that this sounds really good to me, through the old vintage peavey amps, I am talking about the 70's and 80's amplifiers that peavey made.
In short, I don't want to bore you with names of different amps I am using, I don't like how people go on and on about the amps they own, to me it really isn't how many amps you own, but what type of tone you are getting, that is the true search for a player, not saying I own this and this, just because one has a bigger wallet then another player, doesn't mean he's getting better tone, Please keep that in mind.(ok) Please understand, its all about what you are looking for and what you can afford.
I love the p/ups on this sunburst falcon, they are hot, and a little noisy, except in setting 2 and 4 like most strats, but what I found really cool was that they have tone and harmonics to the point that I really don't play my high dollar strats, yeah that's right.
So with this Falcon I am getting some serious tone, but it isn't just that simple, one has to know what they are looking for in a guitar, and also in the sound they want, for some players this guitar may not be right, for others it may be, but please understand this, a lot of times it has to do with the right wood and the right day and the right set up, a lot of factors come to play here, and please don't let anyone tell you any different. Hope this helps, I am truly trying to be as honest as i can.

Reliability : 9
They ask can you depend on it? Well to be honest, I surely hope so, but I always have a back up Guitar, like most players, but i haven't had to use one, but please understand, that i use my gear for studio work, and Church, and playing with friends. I am not a playing out musician anymore, and I am getting up in years, so I just like hanging out in my own small studio, though I really miss the days when I was a professional gigging musician, playing at least 6 to 7 nights a week for years, but now at 60 plus, I am just laid back, and think about those days.

Customer Support : 10
Well since I have owned a really cool collection of peavey gear and EVH-Wolfgangs, I must say Peavey is right on about helping folks out, and doing right for them. Peavey is really cool, and right on the money.
That is the dealings I have had with them.

Overall Rating : No Opinion
Been playing for a long time. Love all kinds of Music, from Classical to Metal. My favorite now is a little chicken pick'en and always tasteful blues. Like Bloomfield, Hendrix, B.B. J.Mayall, and so many more great artist.
Guitars are a matter of taste, and for the money, this guitar or mine is hard to beat. If it was stolen, no I would not replace it, I would find out who stole the guitar, but I honestly don't look for anyone to steal a Peavey Falcon. Hope this Helps. It's American Made :)
