I use this with a "One-Spot" power-all, and it is a wonderful product. it's easy to set up, very strong, nice quality, nice case.
It's also a very thoughtful, clever design.

I hit it with a hammer and it made a nice "BoInG" sound. If dropped down down a flight of stairs it is noisy but if in the bag it quiets things down a bit. Alot of famous artists use Pedaltrains so Im positive it helps me emulate their tone. Someone the other day commented that Im getting closer to the Warren Haynes tone. Maybe its the board.I use it with my trusty SG and DrZ-28 and it doesnt cause any problems. I do give it a 9 in this category because it only works well in the key of A#. Any other key it sounds a little off.

Its built like a tank if they built tanks out of Aluminum. The bag seems very well made yet I was a little disappointed the board had a 1"space on each side when placed in the bag.

Great product for the money and ALOT lighter than the Gator I was using before this. The Gator board is a good product. The Pedaltrain is just plain better. I gig regularly and this is a improvement in weight over the previous board I was using.

seems very well built, I was going to buy the gig bag version but decided to go with the hard case instead, more money and heavier that way but I am thrilled with the protection provided by the hard case for my pedals

I purchased the Pedaltrain 2 with the softcase. It's very simple to set up - great with regard to ergonomics. I can reach everything on the board rather easily and I especially like the way that I can route all of the power and sound cabling under and around the bars, both for aesthetic purposes and to keep them out of reach of my feet.

N/A - obviously, it doesn't produce sound. However, the placement of certain effects next to each other may produce unwanted noise; that being said, I can't discern much of a difference myself after mounting everything.

The rack itself seems to be extremely durable - with a lifetime warranty, I'm not too concerned about that. The rack is a little heavy, especially when my pedals are mounted to it, but I would expect that. Very rugged.
That being said, the soft case leaves a little to be desired. After the first gig I took it on, the handle ripped (although it may have come that way from the factory - I really didn't notice).

I emailed pedalgeek.com (I bought this through them) and within an hour they e-mailed me back, letting me know that they would take care of me. The next hour, John Chandler from Pedaltrain e-mailed me back letting me know that I will be getting a replacement case right away. Excellent customer service - no finger pointing or projection of blame. They just took care of me.

I have a modest pedal setup (Seymour Duncan Tone Boost, Crybaby Wah, VHT Valvulator, Tech 21 Sansamp, Ibanez TS9, Danelectro Chorus, Line 6 Echo Park, and Boss Tuner), so everything fits beautifully. As a working musician, I can definitely appreciate the ease of setup that this board provides, and it looks great on stage!
Kudos to Pedaltrain for making such a simple, but well-designed product.

Easy set up. What's cool is that the horizontal bars that you attach the pedals to on top form little "shelves" underneath, and you can vlecro your power cables to them so they'r ecompletely invisible and completely secure. Really an ingenious, minimalist pedal board set up.

I play in a n acoustic duo, so I have a Morley volume pedal, an LR Baggs DI, a Boss TU 1, and a power strip on mine. With creativity I could put more effects and run the power strip elsewhere, but this all fits perfectly.

Solid as a rock. The bag seems plenty stout. I wasn't looking for a hardcase road unit, just something for local gigs.

I compared this to the Core, but didn't like that one at all. Too limiting, too bulky, too cheap-seeming. This Pedaltrain Mini is much more versatile. It's small, which I like, but offers tons of options for setting up your pedals the way you like them. I really wasn't expecting to get very excited about this purchase, but it's really a nice investment, and does just what it should do. I'm stoked.

This thing is brilliant. I have just put together what may be the neatest, cleanest, most well organized pedal board in the history of pedal boards. And it is so simple in its conception. Did I say lightweight? (the board weighs only 1 pound - before pedals, of course). I really couldn't be any happier with this.

Solid welds, good lookin' powder coat, and I really don't know what the other reviewers were &^%$#@' about re: the gig bag. Sure, the padding could be a little better, but otherwise it seems fine.

Just a great, simple product. As with any pedal board, think carefully about what size you'll need before you buy. The Jr. was just right for me - I'm a bass player who's not particularly pedal happy. I run: Danelectro Dan-Echo, Danelectro Cool Cat chorus, Cry Baby bass wah, Yamaha NE-1 (GET ONE OF THESE!) and power the whole thing with a Dunlop DC Brick. All of this just fits on the Jr. I won't be able to add anything more, but I really don't want to (as it is I only use the effects (not including the NE-1, which is less an effect than an essential component of healthy bass tone. This never gets turned off!) less than 20% of the time, preferring a straight signal for most contexts.)

New 2006 model PT-JR-S
Easy to setup for pedals. Was able to mount my Fulltone Wah, FD2, FatBoost and Supa-Trem on top. Mounted my Dunlop Brick underneath (even though there was room on top), which was a little tricky but it seems to work well with the Dunlop Brick up front with Velcro on the side and bottom of the unit.

Looks great. The new Gig Bags are out on the JR-S models and they seem to be an improvement over the previous gig bags. The bag has storage on the outside and metal d-rings for the shoulder strap. John Chandler said they made improvements.
The bag could still a little extra padding on the top side of the pedals, but for this price it is a great deal.

The board is great.
The bag is junk! The clips on the strap broke and the grip that sits around the handle was coming off which I ripped off! So now I have a bag with a stronger strap and broken handle. I wouldn't use the bag without a piece of rectangular foam across the pedals for protection.

Lay the Velcro and you are ready to go! There are multiple options to configure your pedals. That's what I love about the thing. I used George L's cables to customize my signal flow.

The board is built like a tank! I'm sure it will last forever. However, the carrying bag for the jr. is very weak. The strap is not placed well and it doesn't sit comfortably on your shoulder. I took it off and just carry it using the hand strap. The bigger boards come with what looks to be a tough cases. Besides the case the board rocks.

I would give it a 10 except for the carrying case. You can buy a better one from PedalTrain, but if mine goes I'll just find something else to carry it with. I have a VPjr, Keeley Comp, Keeley Kantana Boost, TS-9, TR-2, DD-6, Boss TU12 tuner, and a Dunlop Power brick on the board. That's all the room it has, but that's all I use.

The pedal board itself is very rugged. Lightweight and very sturdy, nice non-skid rubber feet that are bolted onto the frame, not glued, very nice. Stomp on your boxes as hard as you want, this thing will not flex or budge, it's very, very solid.
My only gripe is the carrying case, it's junk. For $100 I would expect something a little more durable. The stitching on the Velcro for the handle unraveled the day I got it. The storage pouch is located UNDER the pedal board and only provides enough storage space for some strings or picks, but no cables. The board is great, but I'm very disappointed with the case, it really should be built and designed better.

This is a great board that will last forever, but the case won't. The size of the board is perfect for me as I only use three pedals, a tuner and a VooDoo Lab Pedal Power II. The angled design is great and really helps for routing cables. Overall I highly recommend this board. Just plan to have a custom case built for it because the soft case it comes with just doesn?t cut it. By the way, did I mention that the case really sucks?
