This pedal is easy to use but at the same time, you will find yourself playing with its' many different tonal options for hours. There are a multitude of sounds to be had from this pedal... all of them stellar.

I am currently playing a Guild Starfire IV through a Fender Super Reverb. This pedal really shines with Humbuckers. I also have an Analogman Sunface NKT275, and while I love that pedal it can be a little dark with Humbuckers. This Fuzz just screams. It has a ton of gain on tap and the added Range control allows you to dial in many different types of Fuzz based on your set-up.
It also cleans up really well with the volume knob. This pedal will get you some great, gritty overdriven tones all the way to full on Tonebender Fuzz heaven. I can only imagine how great it would sound with a Les Paul and a Marshall stack!

Built like a tank but I have only had it for a few weeks. But as stated by Alex, the builder, if anything breaks... he will fix it, lifetime warranty.

As far as I am concerned Phoenix Custom Electronics may be the best kept secret when it comes to quality Fuzz pedals. Great products at a reasonable price with incredible customer service. Couldn't ask for more

I'm giving this a 7 only because the different knobs react to each other greatly, so it takes some time to experiment a bit to set up the pedal best for your particular guitar and amp. It's not hard to do, but because it's capable of so many different sounds, the Lady Stardust is on the complicated side of things.

It does what it says it does very nicely. The reviewer above mentioned it being warm and raspy, and I'd say that's a dead-on description of this thing when it's fully cranked. I'm giving it a 10 because of something I didn't expect - roll the volume knob back on the guitar (or play lightly), and the Lady Stardust cleans up beautifully. I feel like I could leave it on the whole time because of the way it reacts to the guitar. My current setup is: Zvex SHO->PCE Lady Stardust->Diceworks Tonebender->Baja Tech da MOAF->Option 5 Destination Rotation->DLS Echo tap->Hiwatt.

Does the Mick Ronson thing really nicely, but surprisingly can also clean up amazingly well and is an extremely reactive pedal. I love it - it's one of the rare pedals I've had where I know I won't get rid of it.

I'm giving this an 8 because a fuzz always depends on your set up.
I dial in a slight amount of crunch in my Vampower amp this let this fuzz do the talking. This fuzz has a great number of options so you have to spend a bit of time experimenting to get results.

Ladies and gentlemen...."The ultimate glam rock fuzz!!"
I've owned four VoxTonebenders. One is an absolute killer and the Lady Stardust gives that baby a run for its money. This is a fat sounding fuzz that cleans up with your guitar volume knob backed off.No thin mosquito buzz here!
Think Mick Ronson and this fuzz delivers a similiar sound. It uses two nos AC153 germanium trannys and has a warm raspy sound that seems to be missing from so many tonebender clones. The pedals maker -Alex went out of his way to get it right. It also has a bias feature so that you can use it in front or behind a wah. Also features a led and power input.
This is a traditional sounding fuzz that delivers the goods. For those of you who are wondering what the hype is about fuzz-then look no further. This pedal reacts brilliantly with my guitar and amp.I hate to sound like a hippy but it has a very organic sound that can also go into full on bombastic space rock fuzz heaven.

Zvex is cool. However some other pedal builders act like a winners on american Idol and are total big headed Fraggin jerks.
You want someone who will tailor a pedal for you and also who has great ears? Well-Alex is the new kid on the block-and a stellar talent!
I couldn't be happier and I'm glad I took a chance on his company -Phoenix custom electronics. well done Alex
The price for the fuzz (round $160)was a fair was great value for money.
I mean over $250 for a fuzz? Wake up--any one who is charging over $250 for a fuzz is laughing at you and laughing all the way to the bank.
