Two knobs (level and fuzz) and a switch for a mild bass boost/treble cut. Very easy to dial in a good sound. Cleans up like a fuzz face with guitar volume adjustments.

I use Telecasters with a Marshall JTM-312 and a Tech 21 Double Drive. This pedal makes this amp sound very FAT. The sound is very harmonically rich and fuzzy, but smooth. With the OD pedal on (after the Rocket) this pedal has a massive lead tone. The pedal reacts very well to dynamics and actually has a very warm sound. It seems like it produces two sounds simultaneously...a fuzzy sound in the background of a overdrive sound. Not too trebly with my telecaster. Nothing gets a 10 on sound quality unless natural disasters start to occur while I'm playing. It's a little noisy, but I expected that (it's a fuzz pedal, and so were the originals). Also, my other equipment contributes noise (telecaster) so I can't complain.

Custom made pedal. The owner of the company and I emailed each other for 2 weeks straight until he and I were both satisfied with the progress and specifications of the pedal's construction. I have no doubts whatsoever concerning his willingness to fix anything wrong with this pedal.

This pedal is very versitile. With a good amp and a good overdrive, almost any sound for classic rock can be obtained. I very highly recommend the workmanship of Phoenix Custom Electronics.
