Ease of Use : 7
Fairly straightforward, but this is a "pro" piece, and may be hard for someone with no experience with compressors to figure out. The manual is helpful, but it's best to work with it to see what it can really do. There are no pre-sets, and it is definitely not "plug in and play"...

Sound Quality : 10
This is a rack-mounted 8-channel dynamics processor. Great sounding compression and gating. Very musical and clean. I use it in a 16-track digital home studio, mainly on tracking drums, to clean up and separate the various drums from the cymbals and each other. This is the best device I have used for this application.

Reliability : 8
It appears very solid, and has performed flawlessly so far, but I haven't had it long...

Customer Support : 10
I have called the company twice, and e-mailed them once. They were helpful and friendly. I talked to their tech person, Steve, and he was knowledgable, polite, and very helpful.

Overall Rating : 10
I bought this to use in my home studio to help solve the problems I was having with recording loud rock drums.I would have to give this unit a "10". It is compact, clean, and very versatile. Definitely "rocks" for controlling live drums in a recording situation. From other people I have talked to it is real good on other instruments as well. If it was stolen or lost I would have to get another one.
