What we have here is the New Overdrive from ProTone based on the TS circut. Every manufacture out there does one and its been done to death, so ProTone has some fun with Naming this (as in Beat a Dead Horse....)
This is as Easy to use as a 3 knob OverDrive can be. Volume, gain and tone. There is also a 2 way mode Switch to go from Symetrical to Asymetrical clipping. No owners booklet included but None needed.

les Paul - Wah - DeadHorse - Phase - Tuner - Marshall jcm 800. The Deadhorse smack the front end of the Marshall like Ive never heard before. The ProTone Site says that this offers the typical TS mods, but the heart of this guy is in the Mode Switch. Symetrical gives you the typical Modded TS sounds. The Asymetrical mode makes it like a Jagged glass TS. I cant speak enough about this mode. Its really the heart of this unit, IMO. Seems a little noisy at High gain settings, but arent they all......

No reason to Belive it wont last. Gigging without a backup is Suicide but it seems as well built as anything out there..

Dennis always anwsers Emails in a TImley fashion. Ive had some issues before with other pedals and always felt like I was the most important Customer to him. I cant recommend Dennis/ProTone enough...
