Very easy to use, it's a fuzz box. No manual but it's not needed.

I'm not looking to get the sound of "my favorite artists", but looking for something different which this pedal provides. It's thick as hell but reatains definition. It's not a brutal amount of fuzz but a nice fat, warm one. I'm using it to replace my original "Lil' Big Muff (pi)" that's VERY temperamental. I'm able to get that same nasal fuzz but, honestly...I like the bottom end I'm getting from "Starfire..." with that same top end sizzle. It's actually super quiet, too...so I guess "pristine" is a suitable ranking although I consider no dist/fuzz to be so only by nature of design.

Absolutely dependable.

I've dealt with Dennis many a time and he's always helpful and abnormally fast with his responses to emails. Never needed a repair but we did go back and forth on a noise issue for another pedal of his only to find out the culprit was another pedal in the chain...not his!

"voodooNOUVEAU" is a synth punk band and the texture of this pedal sits in nicely with growling, nasty syths and huge drums...so, yeah...it's a good match.
If it was stolen I would buy another right away, I dig everything about it, no beefs.
I've been playing for 26years so I know my shyte as far as these kind of things go.
