3 knobs - level, tone & drive. a no brainer
(previous reviewer said his had 4 knobs!)

it's pretty cool. rich harmonically and not harsh. cuts out the lows like a tubescreamer, but i don't care when you doing crunch rhythm or lead lines you need the midrange punch, not lots of bass. anyway i think cheesy distortion is cool. sounds more like a tubescreamer than a tubescreamer if you know what i mean. well what i mean is it cuts the lows more than even a tubescreamer and it has that nice crunch in the top end that tubescreamers get. i found this pedal quite inspiring

don't know - it's made of plastic, but it must be around 20 yrs old and it's still going fine

well it's not famous like the ts-808, in fact i bought it today and was surprised to see that Profile made effects pedals. (I'm a big fan of their fender guitar copies)

There's only 4 knobs, how hard can it be, right? It's easy to find a crappy sound, slightly more difficult to find the sweet spots.

I run this on a small Peavey Envoy 110. I find the best sound comes with a combination of amp settings and pedal settings. Once found, you'll never find another distortion/overdrive pedal that sounds close to as good.

It should have broken by now.
