Ease of Use : 10
Your gonna have to read the manual but for a compressor it is easy to use.

Sound Quality : 10
I've been playing for 25 years. I've owned this compressor limiter with hush II noise reduction for 15 years. I use it only for recording in my home studio. It works great for guitars, bass and vocals. I use it to record all single tracks. It is a mono piece however and so is unusable for mix downs [unless I had another one]. It does just what it is supposed to do. It makes the vocals much more alive and balanced. It makes the instruments balanced and quiet when they are supposed to be quiet. The Hush II noise reduction removes the floor noise very well. I find my Tascam 688 with the Rocktron 300A and my Sony cassette deck with Dolby C to make great demos. It sounds like I recorded everything digitally. Maybe better.

Reliability : 10
Never any problem.

Customer Support : No Opinion
never called them

Overall Rating : 9
well, for the money this unit is a fantastic bargin. I only wish it was stereo. Then I would just use it on mix down instead of seperately on each track during recordings.
