Ease of Use

2 adjustments - Sensitivity dial & a distortion button. No adjustment on the distortion. Seems to add more distortion as the sensitivity is turned up.

Pretty good sound. You can get a few different sounds considering there's only 2 controls. It's designed for a bass guitar (mine is a Spector 4 string) but my brother tried it on his Les Paul electric and it made some really cool sounds. Almost like water drip sounds when you pick. I think it sounds good on a bass or an electric guitar. Doesn't seem to suck the tone out of my bass any.

It's in a good aluminum housing that's painted red. The switch is sturdy as well, like the on/off switches on most MXR pedals. I would think you could gig this with no problems.

Pretty good pedal overall. Nice, bright LED to let you know when it's on. Again, I like the on/off switch. I think it "by-passes" pretty good too. I have it after my Ibanez PD-7 Bass overdrive/distortion pedal in my effects chain. My amp is a Hartke 20W bass combo amp and my guitar is a Spector DLX 4 string. Really adds some fancy crazy sounds when you want to get a little wild! You can hear a sound sample on their website: www.rocktron.com
