Sound Quality : 10
I first had this unit in the effectloop and that sound I rated a 8. I've later re-arranged the connections. The Marshall 8200 pre-amp out on the Intelliflex input and the Intelliflex outputs directly on the effectloop returns. And on the Marshall 8200 return to mainamp I use a dummy jack to disconnect the dry-signal. So the clean and distorted sound from the Marshall are directly connected to the Intelliflex and the outputsfrom the Intelliflex are directly connected to the main stereo amp. The balance between the dry-signal and the effected signal is very good. The Intelliflex is now sounding very good. And I also use a Morley volumepedal in the chain and that is working fine. The complete chain is: Guitar->Marshall 8200 pre-amp->Morley Little Alligator->Rocktron Intelliflex->Marshall 8200 effect right and left returns->Marshall 8200 main stereo amp->2x 212 stereo speakercabinets.

After this minor change in routing, I would certainly hunt down the Internet to get me another one if it was stolen.

It's a simple multi effect with modulation, delay and reverb effects.
After reading the manual quickly, it is an easy programmable multi effect. It has 80 user presets en 80 factory presets.
Editing the presets is very easy to do and the manual is easy to understand.

Sound Quality : 8
If have tested some multi effects. If have also tested the TC Electronics G-Sharp, but that was a compleet disaster. It was noisy and the effects were not impressing me. So I went on searching on the secondhand sites and i found a Rocktron Intelliflex.
The sound of this unit is just amazing good, considering that this one is build in 1995/1996. The sound is much warmer and analog then the G-Sharp and it's not noisy at all. I use this unit in the effectloop of a Marshall 8200 Bichorus stereo head. This is a very good combination. The chorus, delay and reverb effects are very usefull. The pitchshift effects works fine, but I'm not intending to use them because they sound to digital.

Reliability : 8
It's build in 1995/1996 and still working. So you may suggest that the reliability is okay.

I mostly play rockmusic and I use clean en distorted sounds. It matches well with the Intelliflex. I've owned many different effects,
Alesis Midiverb, Behringer V-amp, Boss SE50 and Alesis Nanoverb, but the Rocktron Intelliflex is the best sounding multi-effect.
I use a Rocktron MidiXchange and a Alesis F2 expression pedal to control it. Works very good. The only thing I couldn't understand was the fact that it didn't have the possibility to connect a footswitch to bypass the effects. But after 2 hours of soldering and a modification of the housing, I have made a extra jackconnector to connect a bypass footswitch. And that is now working very well.
If it were stolen, I would buy it again and modify it.
