Ease of Use : 10
This pedal consists of a 707 clean boost and a 808 distortion pedal, specialy made up for bass.
Both have a tone and a drive knob and a deep boost switch. The 707 has a +20bd switch and the 808 has a volume knob to match the volume of both pedals. there are also two switches for a whole universe of usefull operation modes.
The manual is easy to understand, in fact I only needed it for the two operation mode switches (what is bolt? what ist GO!???). for those, who love the little difference, the manual is hand-signed by the guy, who build this nice little weapon...
I'm proud to own serial-number 004, so there might be some changes.

Sound Quality : 10
I use a Weber Mywatt 200, which is a replica of the old 70s Hiwatt custom 200, a 115 and a 410 Warwick box and a Fender Jaguar with flatwounds. The amp has only one flaw: you can't push it to ditortion limits for it's got incredible headroom. That's why I bought this little toy for.
The 707-section does pure level-boost. Incredible level-boost. The deep-switch gives a great bottom to my sound, so I never turn it off. Thats the trick on this pedal: You only realize, what it does when you turn it off. And then you turn it on again very quick! When it's all about gain, this one is a good choice, as long als you leave your itching fingers away from the +20db switch. It unleashes pure inferno...
And then there is the 808-section. Deep boost on, and then go... Everything is there: from a little bit of crunch and longer sustain up to a tube-screamer like metall-onlaught with a thunderous e-sting growl and ear-ringing endless notes on the high registers of the g-string, you can horrify your guitar player. The boost knob is very subtile in comparison to other pedals like the boss odb 3. there you turn it on just a little bit an you get metall. here you can have a little crunch, just when you play hard and go on to the realms of warm distortion like those old Cream recordings with Jack Bruce and then go on to take-no-prisoners howling and growling your guitar-guy will not like.

Reliability : 10
It shoots like a tank and it's built like one. lasered metal cover, all knobs and switches are build to last and the leds are so bright, you won't need further stage-light.
I don't think, this one will ever let me down even after a triple Ironman, severeal football and baseball matches and the rallye Paris-Dakar.

Customer Support : No Opinion
Never had to deal with him seriously. mailed him once to tell him my appreciation, got a nice reply very fast.

Overall Rating : 10
I play in a coverband, so I need a versatile sound. This one gives me all I need from a dist-pedal. Normaly I play the 707 and change for a heavy chorus or song to the 808 or the additional 808.
If you play boutique-amps and pricy axes, why should you use a cheap pedal? I tried out all the ones at Musik-Schmidt (a quite big shop with pretty a lot of pedals...)and this one was by far the best. If it was stolen, I'd kill the guy or buy a new one. It has so many fantastic tones, you won't know which you like best.
The only thing that would be nice: A red led for the 808 in stead of the blue one... just kidding. If it looked like crap, it would still be the best sounding pedal on earth. If Mr. Rodenberg would build chorus, delay, or other pedals I'd certainly buy them. He shurely does things the way they should be done.
