Roger Linn Design AdrenaLinn II 2.1

I've owned the Linn units now since early 2004, and they are Fantastic! It's easy to get great Sounds and Tones, but You have to go to the User Banks and make this happen like any Digital or Analogue Processor or Pedal out there.
The new 2.1 Version in Up-Dated and has better Drums and Amp Models and Effects. It's easy to sit down and program Beatz and Sounds. It is Amazing! The little Manual is OK and funnn!

All AdrenaLinn II units that came out after May of 2005 have the revised 2.1 Circuits and Chips. Awesome!

All the Effects and Filters in the Unit are Incredible and the 2.1 Version smokes and burns. A lot of Axe Players don't realize that the Chips used in Digital Units and the Sampling Rates have a huge bearing on the Sound and Tone.
ALL Roland Guitar units run at 24 Bits and 44.1 kHz. That's pretty good. ALL Korg units run at Industry Standard of 16 Bits and 44.1 kHz.
The Roger Linn Units have 32(!) Bits Chips and run at 40 kHz!
That makes this Unit the Stradavarius of Drum-Machines alone! Even big-name Beat Machines and Grooveboxes run at only 16 Bits and 44.1 kHz. So the AdrenaLinn II 2.1 is a Real modern Linn-Drum! Bloody Awesome!
The Amp Models and Effects and Filters are Incredible but like any Units out there, they require Effort. I use a Very Special EmerySound Amp called the Lylyth, that I had a hand in its Design. It's the only one of its Kind and will never be made for anyone on Earth like my Signiture Axe, also called Lylyth because half the Sound and Tone of any Axe is the Amplifier.

I have used the AdrenaLinn II units since early 2004, and my whole Sound came together on this Amazing Unit, in Electronica and Goth.
The Linn Units are the only Beat Machines alone out there on Earth that have Effects and Filters that pulsate and modulate to the Beatz that You program in it.
Since the unit has a Beat Machine in it, I can do any Live Gigs and not need a Drummer, per-se. My units, I also use the MIDI to do just Gigs for Beatz and Loopz in Techno and Goth genres. It can make Beatz that are Surreal and Celestial, alone with its Effects and Filters.
The AdrenaLinn units are all built like tanks and I have had mine all over from the USA to Europe and they can take it Great! So yes, I depend upon this Unit and the AdrenaLinn II IS the Cornerstone of my Sound.

Roger Linn is a Great Guy and a very real Genius and yet Humble and Kind. I am so grateful for the AdrenaLinn II units that I own 7 of Them.
I've never had to upgrade or have repairs and keep on buying the units new, and use them in different Applications in Music.
Roger is easier to email and gets around to answering like his Partner who had a huge hand in the AdrenaLinn, Dave Smith, who's at Dave Smith Instruments that make the Evolver Synths. Awesome Dudes, these Guys. Great Customer Service and really nice as Men, the Geniuses that they are. Can't recommend them enough.

I do Metal, Goth, Techno. The AdrenaLinn II IS a Perfect Match made in Heaven. It has its limits but it is ALL About Quality over Quantity. It's not a big Conglomerate Wanker thing. I Love the Little Guys out there who are Innovating and not Imitating.
I've played instruments since 1968, since childhood and I have Gear by Damage-Control, Emery Sound, Roger Linn Design, Frantone, Electro-Harmonix, Boss, Hamer, and Abstract/Ed Roman.
If any AdrenaLinns I had were stolen, I'd have to replace them immediately.
I love Everything about the AdrenaLinn II units. There's nothing out there that compares to this Unit. I chose it to try out and it became the Cornerstone in Music Toolz in no time. I know all my Toolz inside and out.
My whole Musical Vision came to Be with the AdrenaLinn II units. It's that Great, but requires Vision, Effort, Programming, and Time. It's worth it. I LOVE the Roger Linn Design AdrenaLinn II 2.1 Units!
