I got this at a "recycle shop" in Japan when I was looking at a used flying-V guitar for my son. Not only did I get the owner to come down on the price for the guitar, I had him throw in the Roland DC-50 for free (he didn't know what it was). This unit is so easy to use. The switches and nobs are easy to use and leave no room for misunderstanding to the user. It's light weight and easy to carry. It has

The sound is richer than any other chorus I tried. I don't use the echo too much but do play a few things with just a little of the echo added. Mostly the chorus. Like one of the other reviewers, I've use it in church and many people have commented how great the sound is.

This thing is built in a great wooden box that can be bumped around without worry. It always works but I have had to wiggle a switch a few times (age?).

Don't think I could get it if I needed it but I think as long as I take care of it, I'll have no reeason for customer support.

I've has it since 1993 and love it. I play all kinds of styles to include experimentation with a loop station and other effects. I just can't find any other unit that has such a rich and full sound, bottom end to top. Although it looks retro (which it is), I love it.

very easy to use, it's pretty hard to go wrong with this one. there's two modes - chorus and hall echo. in hall echo mode it can feedback a little on you if your level's way up there, but even that sounds cool.

i play a us tele into a fender twin, tremendous bottom end and the hall echo can really fill it up for me. hall echo pulls some really spooky sounds and it's a surprisingly nice natural effect, doesn't sound too over the top. to be honest, i hardly the use the chorus - i'm not sure i dig it all that much (chorus in general) but it seems warm enough if you're into that sort of thing. it's a little limited with only volume and intensity knobs for each mode. there's very little noise when using the effect in either mode.

well i bought it second hand for a song, got lucky in a pawn shop, and the switch on my unit can be a little difficult going to hall echo only - i.e sometimes i gotta flick it down a couple of times to activate the effect. maybe just showing it's age, although it's in pretty great nick.

never had to, i'm not sure where i'd start looking if it packed it in on me.

i play instrumental and fairly cinematic soundscapey-sorta stuff so it's been a great tool for that. i run it at the end of lotsa delays and loops and it helps pull some brilliant sounds, big cascading flooding noises with the volume right up there.
like i say, i'd like to come around on the chorus effect, but the effect itself is pretty basic. i gotta say it's a particularly cool looking effect - people sometimes think it's a space echo or something (if only!). if you can pick one up at the right price, i'd recommend it highly. don't ask me what the right price is though - i got this at a steal. very good - buy this unit.

This Digital Chorus is very easy to get a good sound out of. I use it frequently for performing in a large church as well as other locations. People always comment about how good the guitar sounds. I love it.

I use a Fender acoustic with a pick-up in the hole. From the DC-50, I go straight into the sound board. The only weak part of this unit is the "Hall Echo" which I do not use because of the lack of control (only two choices, Intensity and Volume).

I play a variety of styles. Up beat blues, ballads, anything.
I've been playing for 224 years.
I don't know what I would do. Freak out I guess.
Of all the Digital Chorus' I've tried, I like this one!
This Digital Chorus makes my guitar sound rich and full. I don't want to play without it.
