I bought this unit off of eBay... i didn't have a manual, but there is really no help needed. The setup is pretty straightforward, although some of the channels sound similar.

I play a Fender Standard Strat that i modded myself with mini-switches for each pickup, Fender Vintage Noiseless pickups, and copper shielding, so i have no problems with hum with any unit i use. The effects on this thing are spectacular. The delay is vibrant, and the reverb is lush. When the effect is turned completely off, the clean sound is the clearest i have ever heard, better than straight through the amp. Of course, the only amp i have right now is a marshall MG10cd, just a little practice amp with one contour. This unit grabs the EQ by the balls and gives the best tone i have ever heard.

This unit is super old... i am pretty sure they don't make it anymore. Even though it has a few years under its belt, it functions perfectly everytime.
Customer Support

No Opinion
i have never had to contact Roland for customer support, so it would be unfair to comment.

The music i play is a mix between blues, classical, alt, classic rock, and prog. I consider it to be my own interpretation of what modern rock should be. For me, this unit is phenomenal. It has excellent reverb and excellent delay. The EQ and dB boost/cut on this unit are wonderful. It has an input on the back for a foot switch, and 99 programmable presets. My only beef with this unit is that there are 8 different reverb levels and they are all similar. perhaps i need to work with it more.
