it's one of those beauties, I think...
takes away a bit of the high's I find... Just like the Boss CE-1 that looks so similar.

Pretty straight forward. 2 buttons, 3 knobs, no manual, who cares!

Very nice phase (Phase 90 territory, pretty not wild). Cool volume sensitive mode, also can slow down or speed up (like a leslie) with the touch of a button.

Built well, but 20 years old.

I've only called once, got a machine, no luck so far.

A very cool and unusual effect, with a bit more flexibility than the Phase 90/ Small Stone stuff, not as wierd as modern 3 knob or 4 knob phasers can get.

3 knobs, 3 switches. You get good tones right from the start, and it's all pretty self explanatory.

This is a phase, with a dual speed function (so you can go from slow to fast and back, ala Leslie cab), and with a volume sensitive setting, where the speed of the phase changes depending on how loud you play. It's a very musical phase, like a Phase 90, with no provision for feedback. It would be pretty useless for hard rock, but for blues, and lighter rock it sounds really rich, and a pretty convincing Leslie thing.

Same box as a Boss CE1-heavy, cast metal, I suspect you could pound nails with this thing. It's 20 years old and works perfectly, definitley hardier than most EH pedals.

Do they remember that they made this? Do they care? No idea what would happen if I tried to get support. I've heard wait times can be pretty bad at Roland.

A great vintage effect. If you ever see one, that'll make two of us :-). Buy it!
