Ease of Use : 10
Easy, has slider level control, Effects loop in and out, Depth, chorus
and Delay setting. It also has an external stereo out 1/4 inch jacks. Great for running in stereo to two amps. Also headphone out Jacks. Very easy to setup. This was designed to be used as a portable headphone amp similar to Tom Scholz Rockman.

Sound Quality : 10
I bought this unit 10 years ago in a pawn shop when I bought my first G&L Legacy (A quality made innstrument by the way). I didnt have a amp at the time and I was going to buy one of them Tom Scholz Rockmans at the time, I was told this Ross unit would blow it away in sound quality so I tried them back to back and WOW!! the Ross just sounded so much better. The clean with chorus sounded so Alive and the Compressor setting was great along with the distortion. He had two used ones left and I bought them both!! I was later told Ross only made a limit number of these before Tom Scholtz sued them over patent rights! It sounds awesome through headphones and I also ran it in stereo through a peavy classic 50 and a Carvin MTS3212 Amp. It makes you sound like you are running in surround sound. I play mostly 70-80's Rock and Pink Floyd type of music. The distortion on this sounds identical to my older Ross distortion pedal and the compressor sound like the ones that everybody is raving about. I had a tech look at one of them one time to clean the pots and he said it had the same circuits in them that the older ross pedals have in them, this thing is the best distortion, comp, delay and chorus pedal all in one that I ever owned.

Reliability : 9
Solid, its made of metal.

Customer Support : No Opinion
Ross is long gone, I hope it never breaks, I have an extra just in case. This is the older ROSS a Division of IMS out of Dallas.

Overall Rating : 9
I play Southern Rock and this was a mainstay of my music. If It got stolen I would be Lost!
