This think is a peice of cake, Tone in perfect delay with.. get this.. KNOBS! Where'd they get that novel idea? (twould be a boring novel) anyway.. no midi.. no buttons to change time.. no problems. From 0-512ms. it has time and a knob to dial in a closer time (which is quite fun to tweak, and would be nice to turn the pot into an expression pedal, can you say science experiment?) theres a modulation section, like most late 70's-80's digital delay racks (features resemble Deltalab Digital Delay models if thats any help) theres also a high cut feature which, i think, makes the delay colder.. but if you're into i guess its cool. One of my favorite features is the hold function that samples your delay loop when in the 512 'time zone'.. quite fun to tweak. There are no patches..and if you need a manual.. since i've never seen anyone on the internet that has one of these, i dont think you'll find it.

I picked this crazy thing up at a guitar store once (i havent found anything this good there in a long long time.) I've been using this with my project studio as outboard gear for delay, but i also use it with my pedal board (various fuzz pedals, phasers, trem.. et cetera) i have my Ibanez HD-1500 before it to tune in those spacey sounds. The doubled delay is sweet. The delay is a little distorted but its old and i dont like cold delay anyway so its good for me. You can gets some warm semi analog sounding tones out of it if you try really hard, but it is by no means analog. i made it self oscellate once.. not sure how.. it was awesome though.. hours of fun. The flanging you can get is good, if you like reverb that sounds like you are in a huge tin can you can get that.. OOO! like that new Lil Jon and the east side boys song.. haha. most definately a keeper sound.. not. The sound quality is decent. Not great by any means.. but i love it

I've gigged with it, not made in the 90s so its sturdy... not in pristine condition, i have 3 delays so i dont really have to worry about gigging without a backup because i always have a backup if i need to. Every delay is not created equal!

I do a lot of weird music, electronic...mellow.. spacy.. dark.. crazy.. I've been messing around and collecting gear for about 3-4 years and this is one of my favorite pieces, if it was stolen i would kill who ever did it, because i'd have to settle with a deltalab or something (although i want to buy one anyway) but because ive never seen one of these again which sucks, or means its really good!? I love this machine! Its a time machine.. literally..the tweakability is where it shines.. ROSS SYSTEMS FOR LIFE! If you see one of these.. buy it and sell it to me.. haha.. Good luck.
