Knobs: Level, Attack, Sustain. Basic 3-knob compression. Easy to get a good sound out of it.

My setup: MIM Lefty Strat -> CP-1 Compressor -> TS7 Tubescreamer -> Fender Blues Junior.
Sounds very good in front of a good overdrive. Adds more beef to single coil sounds by increasing sustain while adding punch and clarity to chords. Pretty low noise even when played through a cranked amp. The fat sustain and punch give me a good Trey Anastasio tone with my setup.

One of the only disadvantages of this pedal (if you look at it that way) is that it has plastic casing. However, the casing is very thick and it would definitely hold up well as long as the pedal is not horribly abused (and I mean it would almost have to be intentional). Other than that the switch seems to be of good quality and I would probably gig without a backup.

I play stuff along the lines of Oasis, Phish, RHCP, Radiohead, Pearl Jam, etc. Goes very well with a good overdrive pedal and tube amp for playing my types of music. I've been playing for four years and have owned a Boss CS-3, MXR Dynacomp, and a DOD Milkbox. I bought this for something a little different, I ended up with something that I actually think is a little better. If it had metal casing, it would be nearly perfect for me. If it were stolen or lost, I would probably buy another (can't quite afford a Keeley :)
