Easy to use BUT I have some important information regarding the Vibromesh knob. And I've discovered a NEW USE for this pedal that blew me away!
It took me a long time to figure this out. Read on...

HIGHEST QUALITY YOU COULD IMAGINE! Thick, natural, and versatile.
Here's the thing: You can use one channel for a Leslie-type sound and use the other channel as a Fat/Boost!! I use it for SRV sounds with a Strat in the neck position.
Here are the settings: 1st Rate:Noon 2nd Rate:3 o'clock or whatever
Depth: to your liking Micromesh: 9 o'clock
The Micromesh will increase your fattness & volume but as you turn it clockwise it gets thinner & quieter until you reach 3 o'clock which then becomes unity (no change in tone or volume)
So with the rate at noon it's a Fat/Boost and with the other rate at 3 o'clock it's a Leslie. And it's not a muddy fat sound. It's a nice lower mids fattness that keeps your clarity.
I must point out that I did have a mod done to mine. I had a tech change it so that the Depth knob gives you no effect at all when you turn it completely counter-clockwise.

I've updated my review because I've had it for a while now and realized it can actually act as two pedals in one! One of my Strats is quite thin and quieter sounding; so now I use one of the channels strictly as a fat-boost. It's actually saved me money and space in my pedal box.
The fattness it gives you is not muddy but rather a clear lower mid thickness. It makes a wimpy Strat sound big and chunky.
I've been a pro guitarist for 20 years and I use vintage Strats and a vintage Fender Deluxe Reverb and Vibrolux.
I compared this unit to a whole bunch of popular pedals including expensive boutique pedals and this one sounded the closest to an actual Leslie with that thick vintage tube sound.
I can't see it getting any better than this.
If all SIB pedals are this great, then my hat goes off to these people.

I leave this bad boy on all the time and just change between a lil shimmer and a wacked out sound,
not prsitine, more like a subtle leslie-piping in the back, and then full tilt hendrix nutta-ness

Easy ,easy . Only question mark is the vibromesh knob . I havent really sussed out what it does yet .
The 2 rate knobs are a cool idea . The one thing I would like would be another LED for the rate selection so if the effect is bypassed I can be sure which rate mode Im in .

Sounds great to me .This is pitch vibrato not tremelo . Has a good range from a slight warbling to alien sounds . The slight warbling makes a great chorus like effect . Different than chorus but similiar -that makes no sense.
Sounds good with my fuzz factory but not so good with my keeley MT2 .
Combined with other effects like delay, ring mod can make you drool and see lights .
true bypass seems good . havent noticed signal degradation .

no idea. Before buying I tried to find a website ...no good . I couldnt find anything out there about the manufacturer . Worries me if I have problems . But the best customer support is one you dont need .
If the manufacturer is reading this just a web page with some contact details would be re assuring .

I play varied music and try not to use traditional guitar sounds as much as I can. Vibrato is not for everyone . I personally love its texture in a mix .Its not something you use every song but its a good trick to have up your sleeve .This can be set up suttle and crazy with the 2 knobs which is great and makes it more usefull.
The 2 rate knobs make this more than a 1 trick pony ,I guess a 2 trick pony but its a good trick .
I used to use the vibrato feature on a boss PS5 but got sick of having to hold down the pedal for the effect ..the SIB is way nicer analogue sound anyway .
Im a bit lost on the vibromesh knob .I hear a bit of a resonance type adjustment but its real suttle .
It was pretty expensive but when it comes to this stuff I would rather pay extra now and be happy with the results .

I gave it a raving review right after I bought it but there is a couple of problems with this thing that finally made me decide to sell it. Although it does not change the tone of your guitar (on or off) here are the problems: 1. You cannot turn the effect way down and just have it on slightly. 2. You will want to turn the effect down because it's so warbly that it doesn't sound natural and it makes the guitar sound out of pitch too much. I wanted a Leslie sound that won't sound too effecty. I prefer the Guyatone MC3 analog chorus. The MC3 gives you a sound that's closer to the "Cold Shot" sound that SRV gets.

For getting a natural Leslie sound that's not too warbly, this is just not versatile enough. If you want an effecty warble, it's a good unit with true bypass and keeps your tone true.
In the store, when I bought this unit, I compared it to a whole bunch of Leslie-type rotary pedals, and this one was the only one that did not change your tone. I might be a little too fussy, because I once owned a real Leslie. This unit comes close but it would be nicer if it was possible to back the effect off more.

A two year old could work this thing.
It's got two foot switches. One for effect ON/OFF and one to alternate between two speeds. When you switch from one speed to the other, it doesn't change gradually, it switches instantly.

AMAZING TONE!! Does NOT change the sound of your guitar and amp by even the smallest fraction! For me, this is the ultimate Leslie simulator for guitar. Forget about noise, distortion or any of that. It just takes your sound at warbles it. It's got true bypass. I use a USA Strat with an all tube 1972 Vibrolux vintage amp, a tube screamer, and a few analog effects.

I just bought it, so I can't say how reliable, BUT it is built like a tank. Very sturdy high quality knobs, foot switches, with a body made of thick, strong metal.

I've been playing all styles for 30 years as a professional. I'm a big Stevie Ray Vaughan fan and all I wanted was a pedal to mimic the Leslie sound heard on the song Cold Shot. I can't imagine anything topping this pedal because there is absolutely no colouring of your sound whatsoever. I've never done a review on pedal before but I was so impressed with this pedal I just had to share the news. It was worth every penny ($175. Canadian)

Pretty easy to use. No manual available, but fairly intuitive. The function of the"Vibromesh" knob continues to escape me. It "sort of"-"kind of" sounds like a regerneration function.

I'm using it with a Gibson Johnny A, PRS Cu22 and strat through a Carr Rambler. It gives an excellent "Lonnie Mack" "Magnatone amp" vibe.
It works well w/ delay, overdrive, compression and chorus, but pales a little w/ heavy distortion.
The pedal is noise free and true bypass, so it retains the natural tone of the guitar both engaged and when off.

Weird...There is absolutely no way to contact this company.
Their website [shared w/ "SMF" amps] has no "contact us" link.
There are no address, p.o. box or phone numbers posted on this site, nor in any of their ads. Service is through the dealer network, so yout S.O.L if you buy this thing used.
I think that's a ridiculous way to do business...If you're going to sell a product to the public, you are obliged to provide direct customer support at some level.....even Fender and Gibson have contact points.
Luckily I purchased the unit through a dealer that seems to provide very good support

I think this is a great "magnatone-esque" vibrato pedal, which is exactly what I was craving when I bought it.
The foot print of this pedal is too large. It's about a 1/3 larger in width than a comparable Boss pedal. Vibrato is sort of a niche effect that I'll probaly use sparingly. So it occupies too much "pedalboard real estate"for the amount of use it will get.
I could do w/ a smaller pedal, and forego the "rate swap" function [allows you to set and select between 2 seperate speeds] and the "Vibromesh" [function unknown].
Bottom line....it sounds great and I will keep it in my "Guitar-senal"
